Well, for the first time in a long time I'm considering not voting at all this Tuesday. It's combination of apathy (I don't think anything I say/do really counts when it comes to elections), disgust with both parties (because, both parties are disgusting), and a form of protest (I hate the entire system and refuse to participate and give it legitimacy). Anybody want to try and convince me otherwise?

I'll be voting. Since '92 I think I've missed one primary, and one, maybe two, run-off elections.

Not voting as a form of protest is about as effective and useful as a gun fee zone sign is at preventing shootings.
I won't try an tell you which way I think you should vote; but I will say that one party seems to be doing more good than the other, and that it's stupid shit is likely to be easier to undo in the future than the other parties crap.
I'll gladly take good mixed with bad and the likelihood of being able to undo the fuckups later VS Mostly shit with little good and all that here to stay.

Anybody want to try and convince me otherwise? Actually I kinda get it. Some of the Republicans that have gotten in or retained their positions are blowing this golden opportunity to potentially change things around to tweet, talk shit or act stupidly. For their side of things the Dems have doubled down on their socialism and have gone further to the left. The whole thing is a shit show. To me it's how you feel. Either you'll just keep on keeping on and continuing to do what you do or you'll quit in disgust. Either way I get it. (Looks like my crystal ball prediction from 2016 about the US Supreme Court cane true. Didn't even remember posting that. Boy, they sure threw a fit about Kavanaugh. What a bunch of liars)
