Looks like Hillary just disclosed classified information to the world at large via television during the last debate; to whit our Nuclear response time. Apparently it's 4 minutes.
Pretty sure that's classified, and I'm pretty sure no one is going to prosecute her for divulging it.
When I think about our country's current state of affairs I'm a very sad panda.

I've never seen a human being who turns my stomach like Shitlary. What I find sad is that the only person who turns my stomach like Hillary, is Trump.
I happily vote for Gary, who pretty much passes for human.
Otherwise, I'll just set myself on fire in the voting booth.

So, everyone vote?
Or waiting for today?

So, everyone vote? Or waiting for today? Sent my ballot in a few weeks back and already received confirmation. They've had early voting here, so I voted last week. They had computerized voting machines this time, didn't really dig on that since they've had paper ballots the entire time up until now. Apparently in some counties in TX the machine has been changing their vote.

Apparently in some counties in TX the machine has been changing their vote. I think votes should be on paper only, with thumb print, and public record...we'd have to give up the "privacy" of how we cast our vote but it would at least permit us to verify that our vote had been counted correctly for the candidate we had selected. At the rate things are going soon it won't matter what candidate you vote for or which candidate the machine "confirms" you voted......30 seconds after you leave the booth your vote will be changed to whomever has been pre-selected to win.

Well, I'm waiting until this afternoon. I want to see what the turnout is. My polling place is at an old Head Start center in a small neighborhood (or "settlement", as we call them, since they aren't within city limits) a couple miles to the east of our property. The most I've ever seen was a count of 194 ballots cast on the machine.
For the last 20 years or so it's been run by Mrs. Ellis, a retired custodian at my high school, Miss Faye, who's son owns the farm that borders the South side of our property, and Old Top, a retired Army Master Sergeant who makes some of the best muscadine wine.

Yeah, same here. At this point in time it's really the only way to ensure that your ballot gets to the voting officials (who are presumably not crooked either) marked correctly. That's actually what I think will happen this time. Hillary has been picked to win against Trump just like she was picked to win against Bernie. The Media on Nov 8th 2016 : " Ohhh, Trump was SO close. Welp, better luck next time. Now is the time to unite the country under a patriot who will bring us together" (or some other meaningless propaganda that doesn't even fool her own supporters as the ballots of actual citizens who are alive and took the time to vote are scraped into the trash while the fraudulent votes of the dead are tallied in glee).

Unfortunately I don't know the people who are tasked with receiving and tallying the votes. I wish I lived in a place like that where I trusted the people to that degree.

Welp, just got home. My ballot was number 317 on the machine counter. Actually had to wait a couple minutes to get my ballot. Usually there isn't any sort of line, but this time I had a couple folks ahead of me. They only have 12 seats at the tables and they were all taken, so I just filled mine in up against the wall.

I am at work. Many people are shocked. They are worried about "blood in the streets", a race war, war with Russia, and Trump screwing things up with hissy fits. I can already see the germination of many conspiracy theories. I have heard a black family discuss white people having "purges" if Donald Trump wins. I think that movie had more of an effect on blacks than I thought. I am taking this opportunity to explain media bias to people wondering WTF just happened. Doesn't seem to be sinking in well. ETA Maybe the teaching isn't going so well because of the huge shit eating grin on my face.
