I debated picking up 4 blem lowers, you know, just to have. I picked up two Anderson's, but they aren't for me. Got em for the two remaining nephew AR's. I've had multiple Anderson lowers...I actually like them alot. Their integral triggerguard ones are the business and saves you from having to drive in that god damned roll pin.

I still have an unused lower that will go to 300 someday. I just got preapproved for a mortgage and all my fun money is going towards that. I'm up to 4 complete ar's somehow

Mortgage rates are crazy low right now, congrats! This is just about the best time in a long time to get in.
Also, bought parts to make another AR today - What do they put on these things, heroin? I Just.HAVE.To.Buy.More.
Next up: Reloading and training. No more guns. For now.

They'll be my first Anderson's. Worst I've heard so far is you have to use a short grip bolt. (How horrible). On sale right now for $35 a pop. www.primaryarms.com/anderson-stripped-lower-receivers/c/8062/

So. Hillary Clinton is going to be our next president, not a doubt in my mind. No way Trump can win a general election. With that in mind...ammo, ammo, ammo. I'm going to try and put away a couple extra thousand 5.56 before November.

And it may not be a bad idea to put some more lowers in the safe, just in case.

I agree with Dan. Stacking back some ammo is imperative..nothing is more important. Keep your powder dry gents!

Welp. I'm going to finish my 308 builds now that PSA has it's head out. 18" CHF FN barrel and a 12" CHF FN barrel.
I'm going to grab a 3x trijicon and a 1x4 trijicon. Probably an MRO for my 9mm AR handgun.
Mmmmmm, classes and ammo now that Sage is back at Woodbury.
Correction: Hillary is not going to win as much as she's going to accept via fraud the presidency. Then you think Obama was bad....

Remember: before anyone can 'assume power' the playbook clearly says the status quo must be 'destabilized.'
The huddled masses must BEG for the Firm Hand of The Leader!
Ammo and lowers are good to have, but more than anything, BE STABLE. Be resistant to destabilization.
Have food to eat, pay off your home, and don't brag about being prepped.
Make sure your wife and kids know how to get by if you have to be gone for a while watering the Tree of Liberty...

Think I'm probably going to skip the 9mm Glock mag AR.
Two main reasons to get one. 1) uses the same mags as your main carry pistol. 2) training ammo is less expensive.
It take money to get into it though. Plus the mags. Also need to run a certain of ammo through it before you re-coup your investment from what you'd end up shooting in .223. For the time being personally I'm probably better off just buying ammo for guns I have already besides getting what I've already gotten in an attempt to weather Hillary-geddon.
At first if anything ammo will probably hard to get from people trying to stock up (which I can't really bitch about because that's what I'm trying to do).
If there is an panic and ammo becomes hard to get yet again I'll probably get an air soft gun for the close range practice and get back into hog hunting again. You're out a lot and only using one rd at a time. I became a hell of a shot just through patience, remembering to use the fundamentals and setting the shot up every time just because I didn't have a whole lot of ammo to work with.
Also quit using the bench, you never have one when hunting.

So incredibly jealous you can just go out and hunt hogs in TX. I'd be out there every damn weekend trying some new load I cooked up on those little bastards.
OT: I really urge those of you who dont reload to start at least buying components now. Your dollar stretches 2-4x further than buying factory.

I have a two hour drive to go down there though and my father-in-law doesn't like any one else on the land but family. Also almost no one else wants to go. So I'm usually having to go alone. That part kinda sucks. It's way more fun with a buddy. His land, his rules. - I really should get back into reloading.

I am going to go against the grain. I do not think Hillary will be the next president unless Trump is murdered or dies of natural causes. I believe Trump will be the next president. I make this statement not to start an argument, merely to let it be known I do not agree with what appears to be the current majority opinion on this site.
Since I am not contemplating a win for Hillary or her being able to set herself up as a dictator, I am currently thinking along the lines of: 1 Will there be a significant panic? 2 Will it become significant enough that an already well prepped private individual can profit from it?
Whatever the answers to those questions turn out to be, I agree with the folks buying ammo and reloading components now. The prices are good and they won't go to waste anyway. If I did not have a lifetime supply of mags and lowers, I would be buying for the same reasons.
