Lift kit arrived yesterday. I need to put the bumper on first (still waiting for it to be delivered) since the lift kit I purchased takes into account an additional 150# on the front end. A friend said he has a spring compressor that I can borrow. So right now the schedule for upgrades is: 9/30-31 - Bumper and winch. 10/7-8 - lift kit, UCAs 10/14 - tires, body chop modification, tire alignment. Sometime between 9/30 and 10/7 I'll order tires. Also, I put one of the two 12v power outlets in the back cargo area. Currently I have it hidden inside the jack storage area. Tested it and all is good. After all that is done, I might have to swing by SCB's place to get some photos done  Edit: updated original post. Everything gets bumped a week since I don't think the bumper will be here until next week. |

Foolish, foolish question to ask, but is the 12v outlet in the truck set up to let you back-charge to the batteries as well?

But the one in the dash does allow for the startup battery, but not the aux battery. Also, the charging unit I purchased allows wires to be connected from multiple sources including solar. ( www.amazon.com/CTEK-40-155-Charging-System-Package/dp/B01AXRA6Z8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1480608570&sr=8-1&keywords=ctek+off+road ) The back one has 4 slots: 1 power switch 2 Ampmeter (to show usage of all outlets in the rear of the vehicle) 3 12v 4 12v I am going to run another set of 4 off this one to the other side of the compartment with the following 4: 1 Cigarette lighter/12v 2 USB ports 3 12v 4 12v |

Btw, at least another week for the bumper. He got mine confused with another that was in production and shipped last week.

Talked to the bumper guy last night. Basically, if it doesn't ship by Monday, he will refund my shipping cost (about $165).

Just ordered 5 tires. Should be here by late Thursday (6PM according to Wal-Mart) FJ goes into the shop today for the lift kit, UCAs, Diff drop, and possibly the Body Mount Chop fix. |
