Now that's some Barney purple right there. Wonder if my wife would dig on it. Price is definitely right just so long as it works. Any idea if the Mags on that one are the same as a CZ75 compact? (I have a fair amount of those Mags and that's one of the reasons I was thinking of buying that Tristar for truck duty)

Made by MecGar. Yeah...very purple. I'm sure they get them in black and other colors from time to time, I just linked the first one I came across. The price is nice, isn't it?

The Tristar C-100 is $329 + tax and the T-100 is $349 + tax, so that would save me $50. Possibly a bit more. www.academy.com/shop/browse/SearchDisplay?searchTerm=TristarMy masculinity isn't threatened by it being purple. Hell, might help with the wife or maybe a jury (if I had to use it). It meets its main criteria. It's a 9, it uses CZ compact Mags, I imagine that it's grip probably feels like most CZ's (comfortable) and it's inexpensive (around $300).

Putting a one month hiatus on my ammo purchases and buying a couple of cases of MRE's with that money instead. My older MRE's are already substantially past their due date, and I've started eating them as lunches basically just to get rid of them. Several of the components are getting pretty stale and blah, even as MRE's go.
MRE's fulfill a niche role in my preps, but they fulfill a role nonetheless. Ammo purchasing will resume next month.

Makes good sense, priority wise. One should hope you'd go through beans faster than bullets, and odds are that if someone is going through bullets faster than beans then they aren't likely to make use of a particularly deep stash of either.

Can't go wrong with any of your choices I don't think

Worked at the scout camp all weekend, missed the show, but like you said, the last 2 blew chunks. How did this one do? Have you hit the one at the Colosseum yet or Mt P?

Am I the only one thinking that the Massachusetts AG's move to unlawfully expand the definitions of what firearms are banned in her fiefdom..err...state *fiefdom, as well as Cali's Gunmageddon, and Washington State's AG making noise about magazine limits and banning "Assault Weapons" isn't just the usual anti-gunner push? I'm starting to suspect they'll try to enact or enforce any restriction that they can even slightly try to tie to existing legislation irrespective of whether or not they know their diktat will be struck down in the courts and long as those diktats stem the pre-election, and assuming <shudder> Killary wins, the lag time until she gets into office and can EO or otherwise push AWB type legislation through on a fast track.
In other words, they don't care if their moves will hold up in court as long as they can delay sales long enough for Chairman Mao's understudy to get in and close the door by hook or crook from the big chair.
* I used the correct word the first time, and more the pity.

Yes, I agree. They're trying to end the flow. Look, once Killary gets in she's going to do her level best to ban them. This has been an issue that democrats have ridden for years to propel them to political office. Once guns are banned what's going to be their bullet point? Well, they're using this issue before it's gone to make waves.

Welp I just got another k each of x39, x45, and 9
That's bout it for me in ammo for the year I think. Ammunition warehouse has good prices on the wolf if you are looking.
Gonna have to stop the spending on anything other than a Wilson combat glock tb and adapters for the suppressor incoming toward year end.
