The new-to-me shotty shoots beautifully. It didn't want to cycle at first, I guess the previous owner might have sold it because they put the friction rings in wrong? Moved them around (the way they're supposed to be on a model with the Cutts compensator), and it runs just fine.  |

I am seriously leaning towards getting one. Is going .300 worth it as far as terminal ballistics from a shorty are concerned? If the 5.56 is decent to 50-75m from a 8" I'll just stick with .223 for ammo commonality.
I still want to know definitively if it's ok to shoulder non braced AR pistols. Either way, mine is getting a LAW adapter. Or perhaps a piston gun? I'm feeling stupid with my money right now.

7.5" with 77gr bullets is more than adequate for 50m. It's a pdw, not a carbine. The two can not be compared. 8" 300 is very good but again, limited. Both are excellent for pdws. Both are effective. http://instagram.com/p/36uMaoGALz |
