Well, it'd been one week since my wife immigrated to the US. She (we) passed through US immigration without issue. As a memento to mark the occasion, I've built us a his & her set of .300 BO 8inch barreled SBRs. My wife is thrilled, and we look forward to trying them out when the local range opens on Tuesday.

At gun shop yesterday waiting on my tattoo appointment they had a Savage i think 6.5 Grendel bolt gun for someplace between 8 and 900 bucks.

Okay guys, The bolt on my wife's. 300 blackout sticks in the closed position (no rnd in the chamber) . Bolt and carrier are nickle boron, barrel is CMMG, gas tube looks like it lines up with the key just fine. Takes a little umph with a flat tip to get the bolt and carrier to come out of battery. Tomorrow is range day, and while I strongly suspect a few rounds down range will clear this up I thought checking with the hive mind might suggest something.....  |

No, do not obey. It's a registration. No tinfoil, once it's recorded in any form it's a registration.
Yes, it's pink and yellow kitten duct tape. I put it on because my daughter has a bunch of tape like that and she like to help me with stuff. I put it on to keep the light from moving around in the mount.

I hope the legislature passes a similar statute requiring background checks on all private sales of automobiles. Don't want any drunk drivers getting their hands on the wheel, after all. (Translation: universal background check laws are stupid) |
