Canning Mandarain Oranges (if I can stop eating them long enough for them to make it into the canner), green beans that were a decent price around here, also cleaning out clutter so we can better organize what is staying here in the apt. Had to rent a storage unit b/c it's not junk, its stuff we want, just the apt is too small. Also, filling more water storage tonight and preserving flour later too.

1 hr boxing/weight lifting. 30 dips, 15 pull ups, 45 chest presses using 2 kettle bells @ 45 lbs each. Then I did shrugs and squats with the same bells. Then I worked 5 3 minutes rds on the heavy bag. Smoked.

This is that S.O.L. (Survive Outdoors Longer) kit I picked up the other day. Ordinarily it's $30-something bucks, but I found it on sale and also used a gift certificate that I got for Christmas. Checked some reviews of it online and people were talking about having trouble fitting it back in the case once it's taken out. I didn't have any trouble though. It's just a lightweight kit to throw in my hunting backpack. I can't see me honestly having to use the thing, but I do frequent some pretty remote places when hunting and so it's completely possible to become lost or injured. Got lost in the woods one time when I was 9 and another time when hunting I couldn't make it back to camp so I had to spend the night out.

Cool, last time I did a 1 minute test I got to 45. I'm going to do this if for nothing else, I've never done 100 push ups. I judged a contest once between to guy who challenged each other to a 500 push up contest. That was BRUTAL. Took one guy about 8 minutes and the other was 13. On topic: 30 minutes jog, 90 push ups, 120 sit ups broken down into 3 sets. 45 reps on each arm 30lbs curls and 90 lbs shrugs. I really need to get some 40 lbs barbells.

Did day 3 today. I did the first 4 reps with no trouble but during the fourth I was starting to run out of gas. I waited around 25 minutes to do the last rep but was not able to complete it with good form.

I joined you folks. Hopefully this will help with my prepping,and perhaps you'll pick up some helpful tips from me. I've been prepping for many years to be ready for natural, economic and social "events"

Did week 1 day 2 yesterday. Did well. For the last rep I did 20 pushups.

Bam! Moar kick boxing instruction. I'm making progress, I picked up another student. That makes 4. 1 solid hour of kicking and punching, I smoked them. No one stood still. I was smoked too. I pushed out 15 solid pullups, a chest workout with 60 lbs kettle bells, 30 squats with the same, 30 dips and 5 minutes of balancing on one leg with holding a 5 lbs kettle. That sucked.

Damn, I could use a work-out partner to motivate me like that! Anywoo...Blew my first paycheck on ammo. SGAmmo had some Wolf in stock for cheap this week. Picked up 1k of 5.56 and 9mm along with 500 .45. I can finally start running drills again without dipping into my SHTF stockpile

Redid week 1 and 2 during my vacation in Thailand. I just did the evaluation before week three. Only was able to do 25 good pushups consecutively. Oh well, I feel stronger anyway. I will keep following the program.

Another big work out and I've upped my chin up sets to 7 per set. Now I'm doing 21 per session. I'm pleased with myself. Did APFT and got a 236. I'm "In Compliance" for weight. I'm proud of myself, I've been working hard.
