Sat my rearend in a tree in hopes that a poodle might wander past. Two did, but they were out of range. Oh well, less work for tonight I guess.
Might take the boat down to the river for fish instead.
Edit -
10:8, you must not have a lot of homebrewer's in your area. Up here they get scarfed up pretty quick - the 2gal and 3 gal buckets make great fermentors for small batches.

Worked a 12, then came home and did a 1 mile run and pushups. Did the same thing just in reverse, slept first then worked out. No workouts will happen tommorrow morning. Time to rotate beer stocks.

Ken & I worked in the basement for a few hours. It's amazing how much space you find when things are a little more organized. Inventoried the latest food storage that we received. Got our HAM radio mics/earpieces, testing on Monday & ecofan, which we will be trying out on the wood insert this week. Cut a few weeks worth of coupons to use at the stores this week, to make them cry (insert evil laugh here) Picked up a few 5 gallon buckets at Sam's, which will be filled with Soft White Wheat next weekend. This was our first weekend home, in several weekends, so it was a true work weekend but it felt great!

Had a real bang up work out. 3 sets of 30 push ups, 3 set of 30 situps, jogged for 30 minutes then went to MMA class. There I did chest, squats and 12 pull ups. On top of that I had someone time me on how many push ups I can do in a minute, got to 42 in 43 seconds. I pooped out. There were 2 young guys training for their Marine PFT so I joined them. Then we worked knife style and did two sets of archery with a twist. Between each shot we did 2 blurpees and had 5 arrows each. So 10 blurpees while slinging arrows against each other for score.

Walked 4.5 miles through uncut corn fields with a rifle, backpack, and way too much blaze orange on in the hopes of killing an antlered poodle.
After that put another 2 miles on driving a swamp out.
Holy-moly am I tired!! I'll take the swamp walkout everyday of the week over the corn fields - damn things are like try to wade through weed molasses while getting slapped in the face every step with downed stalks.

Part of this is a little indirect, but it does help us out. Had tile installed in all the bathrooms today. This way our house is more attractive to potential buyers so that in turn we can put it on the market to sell so that we can move to an even better neighborhood. This would make our family even safer from both crime or unrest in the aftermath of a natural disaster. The neighborhood we live in currently is actually pretty good, but because housing prices have fallen it's not quite as good of a neighborhood as when we moved in. This house is also a little small and a new house will allow for more food storage and means that I can start reloading again. So a definite win all around once we get into a new house and this gets us a little closer to selling.
Also managed to find 625 rds of .22lr ammo, 200 rds of .40 S&W ammo for my G-20, rearranged some of my medical gear and bought a new fire extinguisher for the kitchen at Lowes.

Ordered a complete set of internals for my Glock 23. Starting to get too many light primer strikes. It is a high round count pistol so time to change stuff out anyway.
