There's very little chance of me getting all of this by November, or even January. This is more like a two year buy list. I spent my younger adult years hampered by the AWB, and have been overseas ever since it expired. As a result I've not really had a chance to play catch up like many other's. Now that I have a place to store this stuff I'm determined to never again be caught out in the cold. I'm buying for myself, my wife, and our unborn children. Yeah, I know right where you're at. Only difference is I had an opportunity to play catch up since the AWB ended. In 1994 I was 22 and I didn't exactly have much disposable income. I feel like now exactly like I did back then in trying to grab what I can before the big, dark cloud opens up and starts to rain, hail and cause flooding except I'm in a better position to prepare. My list goes more like ... • Ammo, ammo, and more ammo (most all of it 9mil and .223 Rem with a bit of .40 S&W). • A Glock 35, Glock 40 or Glock 21SF • I'm probably going to trade my Trijicon Accupoint 2.5-10x56 for a Trijicon Accupower 4-16x50 at SWFA in Red Oak (trying to decide between a Mil-Square green and an green MOA crosshair). Mostly I'm going to be getting ammo though and getting my existing guns squared away. I was thinking about getting a 6.5 Grendel to swap back and forth on that NM lower, but right now I feel like that money would be better spent on ammo. Adding another caliber to what I have that's slightly uncommon isn't a good move. If Trump gets the Presidency I'll celebrate by getting a 6.5G upper, 6.5 Mags and 6.5 ammo then, but honestly I believe at this point in time Hillary will likely get it and immediately start making moves that in the next decade will eliminate the Second Amendment. So at this point ammo and a few parts to keep existing guns going is more important. |

Now that I have a 3rd Ruskie AK, ammo and upgrades for existing guns are Priority. Optics, mags, Moscow Match ammo (my loader kid stopped by to start tuning 300rds of Wolf) mostly.
Hil is a known anti, and I assume Trump to be a covert anti. His only statements that I've heard are that he "doesn't like" guns. And he's from NY.
Hoping for a Libertarian upset, but not planning on it.

See, I keep seeing/hearing different things on that. One being that Trump is anti-gun and just lying now to gain support and the other that he's seen the light and is actually a true conservative now. Possible enough, Ronald Reagan was once a Democrat once. I dunno, possible either way. |

Been a few things I've been eyeing so I knew the retail prices. Knew what 2 local gun stores were charging at their brick and mortar. Their prices had mysteriously gone up $20+ at the show compared to store. Guess they have to pay for the table and what not  Was my last one there. I Might hit the other circuit that comes through but I'm sure it'll be the same. Picked up a pack of ammo that was cheaper than in store but after the $7 entry - it came out more... so... |
