Interesting. Most feel this is not positive for race relations, grand jury was right and none of the rioting was justified. The media (and this includes Fox News and MSNBC) have absolutely no connection with the thoughts and feelings of most Americans. This entire situation has been exacerbated by the media and politicians in order to create an issue that fits an overall agenda (mostly fanning the flames of racial tensions--the likes of which are never an issue until community organizers create these issues) and get ratings. These commie agitators, news babes, and race pimps are completely unaware of the fact that the majority of hard-working Americans (outside of Ferguson) do not give a shit about Ferguson. Furthermore, I posit that this same demographic likely feels that piece of shit Brown got what he deserved and residual effects of these "peaceful protests" have left an overall unfavorable opinion of black urban youth. As I and many others went off to work this morning, I doubt much empathy was had for a criminal who was killed while assaulting a police officer; but were thinking, "what is wrong with those people"--and yes, I mean "those" people. I am just sick and tired of the division in this country and the ignorant masses that buy into the "us vs. them" propaganda perpetuated by the minority of loudmouth Communists and radicals who salivate over these unfortunate and terrible events. But, that's just one guy's opinion Thank you, officer Wilson for taking out the trash. Kudos to the grand jury, too. Well said. Well said, indeed.

Is it just me, or does skipping classes and gaffing off work seem like an entirely appropriate way to 'honor' the gentle giant Michael Brown...? No, totally not just you. They had some people doing protests down here at two different places. One protest was at a police station (that's fine, whatever they were peaceful and just doing their thing) and the other protest where they decided to block off the freeway at night on an fairly unlit stretch of interstate where they almost promptly got ran over initially. 7 of them got arrested. ***Link***Unlike the Ferguson protesters at least some of the Dallas protestors have jobs as that was the only one and it was at night (after most people get off of work). Edit : That stupid bitch from UCLA doesn't know anything about genocide though. For a current example she should look up what's going on with the Christians or the Yazidis in Western and Central Iraq. I don't see any cops in the US machine gunning ditches full of men with their hands tied behind their back or setting up a sex slave market to obliterate their entire race, religion or ethnic group. One petty thief who thought he'd get ballsy and steal some cigarillos and beat up a cop and try a gun grab for street cred does not a genocide make. If he'd actually put his hands up he'd be alive right now.

It will always amaze me when people think burning down their neighborhood is justified by... well, just about anything.
Did that store owner cause the problem? No. Did that car lot cause the problem? No. Did that guy driving along the street cause the problem? No.
Then why the fugg do you think it's OK for YOU to destroy and attack them? "Uhhhhhh... social justice!!" WTF?!
Honestly, if I was any of the business owners that had my place trashed, I would a) collect the insurance money, b) put up a chain link fence around the property, c) leave the destroyed property there as a reminder as to why no one wants to do business in that area.

There was an email going around work with pics of looting a shoe store. The pic had written under they took every expensive fashion sneaker, but look at all the work shoes they left.

What obscenities? Sounded like words of advice a few questions and a few mild denouncements. Pretty mild for pulling bullshit outside of your territory. If the people of Rosebud had done the same to Ferguson there would have been a lot more than a well disciplined but vocal counter protest.

I didn't hear any obscenities. No racial slurs. Nothing.
Some leftists are comparing that little bullshit and the civil rights march in Selma when the Kluxers were out in force in the civil rights era.
Big difference between how the Ferguson rioters and demonstrators acted and the people in Rosebud, at least if that video is any indication.
