Awesome, thanks.
Been looking for something between the Noveske KX3 and the Levang. From what I've been reading I'm looking for a linear compensator since AR pistols are louder.
Owned a bunch of different flash suppressors (mostly just stuck to the A2 or the Vortex except for the 3-prong A1 on my 2nd AR ever), but I've stayed away from breaks (too loud and it's not like I need less recoil from a semi 5.56) and haven't seen too many compensators (much less owned one...no need, up until now all my AR's have had 16', 18' or 20' barrels).
I'll take this AR pistol out and see if my ears ring and if the shooters on either side start mad-dogging me after half a mag.

No problem, all the reviews I have seen say good things about the master blaster.

I picked up a Nike Keystone bat bag from Big 5 Sporting Goods for $24 for my AR concealed carry bag, I was surprised that my 16" AR fit in it as well. That Nike swoosh will automatically throws off most sheeple and the all black color is pretty nice. If anyone has any ideas of how to breakup the outline and help reduce printing I would appreciate it. I put some body armor in it to break up the outline a little but I think I am going to have to cut out some sleeping pads or something to do a better job of breaking up the outline, but you get the idea. I am also going to have to get a carry strap and figure out a way to attach it, you could one strap this for short periods of time but I wouldn't want to for anything more than transporting from my car to a hotel room or something. The construction seems pretty good but to keep it from tearing I am going to have to reinforce the end of the bag to carry it barrel first for quicker deployment. If you put it buttstock first it would be slower to get out but you could worry less about the barrel wearing through the bag. The overall length of my AR pistol is greater than 26" so I put a VFG on it after seeing a bunch of pistols with VFGs on ARFCOM. Apparently there is a loophole stating that if the OAL of your pistol is greater than 26" it cannot be concealed and is not in the pistol category but the firearm category where you can add a VFG. But if I do carry this pistol in the bag like this I probably will take off the VFG since it would technically be concealed and may be a no no with the ridiculous logic of the ATF on this. www.ar15.com/archive/topic.html?b=3&f=122&t=609334

I was thinking of buying some kids bats, the kind that are hollow and super light, to break up the outline when it hit me, I should throw in a couple of Cold Steel Brooklyn Crushers. They run about $22 and would come in handy if you run out of bullets =P. www.coldsteel.com/Product/92BSS/BROOKLYN_CRUSHER.aspx

I went with another Wilson tennis racket case. $13.69 and it was local instead of having to wait for it.
This one is actually padded, the black one with the white stripe below only has a bit of padding in it. It'll do for now until I get that Blackhawk racket case that GBM was telling me about.
Also got a chance to shoot it. Was figuring on shooting it standing on the pistol portion of the range, but that's against that particular ranges rules and so I was forced to shoot it off the bench on the rifle part of it. Because I was married to that fucking bench I tried two basic methods of firing it.
1) Cup and saucer hold : I had my right hand firing with my left hand underneath my right supporting it just like a regular pistol and the forend resting on some sandbags.
2) 3-points of contact hold : Left/support hand on forearm, right hand firing and a crappy cheek-weld on the buffer tube.
Because I was figuring on shooting offhand once I got on the bench I was like...'Umm, okay..how am I gonna shoot this fucking thing?!!'...and then proceeded to swap my hand placement around on it like a Benny Hill skit for the next couple minutes until I came to those two (only semi retarded) holds. They worked okay, but they looked more stable in the videos I've watched on shooting AR pistols than it felt. The 3-points of contact hold produced the best groups, but didn't feel real stable. Sitting down there was a huge gap between the end of the tube and my shoulder, that only works out when standing up.
I was also expecting more noise/blast, more recoil and the barrel being a virtual flamethrower. It wasn't the uncontrollable beast that some on the net have tried to lead others to believe, it was actually a lot of fun to shoot. I just need a brace or to SBR the thing (This might be the one that finally gets me a tax-stamp). Definitely NOT a bench gun though. It was loudER than my other AR's, but nothing horrible. Might have been a different story for the shooters on either side of me as I got a few looks, but they weren't holding their ears with blood streaming out while screaming ... 'RUN AWAY'.. or anything like that. So I'll be getting one of those Kies Linear Compensators, but it's not super urgent. I'll just get one eventually to save other shooters hearing. For the shooter behind the gun it's not that bad at all.
Even using these less than optimal holds and being stuck on that bench I was able to pull off minute-of-bad-guys-chest accuracy with it, but I think I'll be able to do ALOT better once I get that Sig SB-15 brace.
I put 5 different types of ammo (55 gr. brass cased reloads, 64 gr. Win, Wolf 55 gr. HP, Tula 55 gr. FMJ and 55 gr. Hornady TAP) through it and all functioned fine. Not a single problem. All in all I'm very happy with it, can't wait to shoot it using that brace and not off a bench. Ranges with all kinds of rules where you *HAVE TO* shoot off a bench bug me. Just give me a dump with a whole bunch of old cars and old washers and dryers to shoot at however you want to.

That's about average for me with this thing at 50y so far. I do better with my .22 at a 100 with Green Tag. The lack of a stock/shouldering it screws with accuracy for me. They make me shoot on the rifle part of the range and you have to shoot off the bench (city's been trying to shut that range down), shouldering the tube only works if I'm standing I can keep the vast majority of the shots on the non-ruffled section of a paper plate, but that's about it. Had a 4 shot group going that was practically touching on a different target (my head almost exploded), but then I ruined it by shooting 20-something more rds at it. I wasn't waiting 20 mins for a range clear to go get that target either. Accuracy get any better with that SB-15? I think I'm going to pull the trigger on SBR'ing this thing and getting a suppressor. Looking at cashing in some retirement from a company I worked at (amounted to a couple grand, I don't know how the fuck they expected us to live on that past 65 anyway).

I think your accuracy will get much better with the SB-15, I barely had the chance to zero my red dot and buis on mine at a 25yd indoor range and the grouping and accuracy I was getting was comparable to what I can get with my carbine. I joined a local gun club with a 200yd range that has steel targets throughout I am planning on going tomorrow and will let you know how it shoots. The only potential issue I have found is that I put my brace too far forward. My nose is a little too close to the charging handle. I put it that far to get it as short as possible and in case it starts creeping forward over time anyways. It wasn't bad when shooting with my red dot on but it was too close to use irons effectively. Some guys wrap tape around the buffer tube to keep the brace from riding up but I think I may get one of the SB15 specific buffer tubes with a brace stop built in. www.kakindustry.com/ar-15-parts/lower-parts/buffer-tubes-and-parts/pistol-buffer-tubes/sig-super-sb15-pistol-buffer-tubeMy initial impressions were confirmed, this brace feels great, recoil is almost non-existent, and for my first sub carbine length AR there is a world of difference in how light, short, and how quickly this handles with the brace.

Have an SB-15 on order now, just waiting on it.
Was also figuring on picking up one of those KAK industries buffer tubes as well and maybe post a review on it.
Shit keeps getting in the way though and I keep lolly gagging on ordering one. Once I finally do order one and get it presumably I'll also procrastinate on installing it.

Just got back from my gun club, my AR 15 pistol was awesome! I was shooting gongs and steel animal silhouettes at 25,50,75,100,150,200,300yd berms with tula steel cased ammo pretty consistently. I was firing mostly unsupported standing or kneeling using the concrete benches on the line as a rest. Very impressed with the accuracy, I put my Aimpoint Pro on it and I was hitting just as good if not better than my Sig 516 with iron sights only. The KAK buffer tube is definitely an addition worth making for a reliable clean looking length of pull. I didn't notice much difference in the noise or recoil on my 10.3" barrel, a new flash suppressor isn't a priority at all right now. Here are some stock images from the club's webpage for an idea of target sizes.
