Former Prosecutor Sues Obama, Al Sharpton For Inciting A Race War
dailycaller.com/2016/07/11/fmr-prosecutor-sues-obama-al-sharpton-for-inciting-race-war/
A former federal prosecutor has sued President Obama, the founders of Black Lives Matter, Al Sharpton, Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, and former US Attorney General Eric Holder for inciting a race war that led to the fatal Dallas police shootings.
The federal class action lawsuit, filed Saturday in Dallas, accuses the defendants of aiding and abetting murder, terrorist promotion of gang activity and civil rights violations of law enforcement officers. It seeks damages of more than $2 billion.
“These (defendants) have incited violence and in fact have a direct link to what happened in Dallas,” said Larry Klayman, who worked in the Department of Justice during the Reagan administration and later founded the conservative advocacy groups Judicial Watch and Freedom Watch. “I hope that law enforcement in Dallas and around the nation will join our class action, it’s a peaceful legal means to fight this. We’ve had it. People are finally starting to speak out.”

Reports: Coup Underway in Turkey, Fighter Jets Over Ankarawww.nationalreview.com/corner/437946/reports-coup-underway-turkey-fighter-jets-over-ankaraIn case you’re wondering, no, it is not normal for fighter jets to buzz around Ankara, Turkey in the middle of the night.
There are reports that a military coup is underway in Turkey: Military vehicles are in the streets, the bridges of Istanbul are shut down, and state television just stopped broadcasting.
If you’re concerned about the Islamist drift in Turkey under Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his allies, a military takeover looks pretty appealing right now! Military coups are almost regularly scheduled in Turkey; the country had coups in 1960, 1971, 1980, and a near-coup in 1997. It’s a regular habit in Turkish politics; an elected leader accumulates too much power and drifts away from the secular, statist, Western-oriented philosophies and traditions of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and the military intervenes.
His final remarks to the Turkish military gave them the duty of protecting the country from enemies foreign and domestic (I’m paraphrasing) and the Turkish military has not hesitated to include elected politicians among those enemies. Quite a few times in the past decade, foreign correspondents and Turkey-watchers have wondered if a coup was imminent. It wasn’t . . . until, perhaps, tonight.

Pentagon: US air base in Turkey not impacted by coup attemptthehill.com/policy/defense/288001-pentagon-us-air-base-in-turkey-not-impacted-by-coup-attemptThe Pentagon said Friday that an attempted coup in Turkey has had "no impact" on the joint U.S.-Turkish Incirlik Air Base in southern Turkey, a key location in operations against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
About 1,500 U.S. troops and personnel are based at Incirilik, a launch point for operations against ISIS.
"As of this time, there has been no impact to Incirlik Air Base and counter-ISIL air operations from Incirlik continue," a senior defense official said in a statement.
However, the base has upgraded its level of protection to "Delta," a defense official confirmed to The Hill.
The official also added the Pentagon was taking "appropriate steps" to ensure the safety and security of the approximately 2,200 total U.S. troops and personnel in the country.
"We are monitoring the situation in Turkey closely and are taking appropriate steps to ensure the safety and security of our service members, civilians, their families, and our facilities," the official said.

Cemetery In Mobile Wants Pokémon Go Players To Go AwayThe popularity of Pokémon Go is getting a lot of attention. Some are asking certain spots to be off limits. That includes Mobile Memorial Gardens. Timothy Claiborne may be the President of the gardens, but he’s also got a new part time job. With a smile, his employees have made him the chief of the Pokémon Patrol.... ....Claiborne said the cemetery is for peaceful reflection as people visit loved ones. He said people aimlessly driving, walking around burial plots or driving with phone in hand creates safety problems. “You’ve just got to control it and keep it away from funeral activity,” said Claiborne. While the game may be popular and fun the people who work here say it’s just not appropriate to play a video game in the middle of a cemetery.

Not that it's an excuse, people need common sense. But the Pokemon game was built on the Google maps framework, with the "Pokestops" and "Pokegyms" overlayed from another active game. The places weren't picked at random. There was an existing game that was data-mined for the locations. That cemetery has from my count 32 Ingress portals, and I'd expect from that number, 5 or 6 pokestops and gyms. There's been games played there for years, just took the Pokecrowd to bring it to the attention of Mgmt.

Several years ago, I seem to recall Baba Louie (Farrakahn) saying he wanted the same thing.... New Black Panther Leader Calls on Blacks to Establish a “Country within a Country” in 5 Southern States
freedomoutpost.com/new-black-panther-leader-calls-on-blacks-to-establish-a-country-within-a-country-in-5-southern-states/The self-professed national minister of defense for the People's New Black Panther Party has declared that they, along with other organizations have set a goal of setting up "our own government in a nation within a nation."
Babu Omowale appeared in an interview with reporter Aaron Klein and said that a new "Black Nation" would be composed of five states: Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Alabama and Georgia.
"We just need to start migrating back to those states and taking control of the economics in those states," he said. "If black people move in, most definitely white people will move out. So it's not a hard process for us to have our own country within a country."
Omowale is the co-founder of the Huey P. Newton Gun Club, which states on their website that they seek to "develop over time to a regimented Black Army."

Brazilian police arrest 10 suspected of planning terrorist acts during Olympics
www.cnn.com/2016/07/21/americas/brazil-olympics-terror-arrests/Brazilian police have arrested 10 people suspected of planning terrorist acts during next month's Rio Olympics, Brazil's Justice Ministry said Thursday. The group was inspired by ISIS and mostly organized online, Justice Minister Alexandre de Moraes said. He said no specific targets were mentioned, but the Justice Ministry is still investigating the suspects' computers and cell phones to learn more about the possible plans.
De Moraes said the suspects are all Brazilian nationals, and that one minor was mentioned in the conversations. Another two people have warrants out for their arrests. Authorities said they believe those suspects will be arrested soon.
De Moraes said the group was not an organized cell, calling it "absolutely amateur -- with no preparation." The group essentially said, "Let's start training in martial arts, let's start learning how to shoot," the justice minister said. He noted the group tried to buy a gun online, which no organized cell would do.
But Brazil has grappled with a host of threats against the Rio Olympics, now just 15 days away. This week, Brazil's intelligence agency said it was reviewing all threats after a jihadi messaging channel called for its followers to target the Olympics, which start August 5. "Many (threats) are discarded and the ones that deserve attention are investigated exhaustively," the agency said.
Earlier this week, a jihadi channel on the messaging app Telegram called for attacks against the games and detailed targets and methods, according to the SITE Intelligence Group. SITE said a message was posted to "Inspire the Believers!" saying, "Lone wolf from anywhere in the world can move to Brazil now." The message also suggested using the games to target the enemies of jihad, including Western athletes.
But Brazil has vowed it will be ready to handle any terror attempt. Brazilian forces have been working with French SWAT teams to simulate attack scenarios. In one drill, Brazil special forces and a police dog chase down an armed gunman to thwart a possible attack on Rio's subway system. "There is not a specific threat," Lt. Gen. Luiz Linhares of Brazil's Ministry of Defense said. "You have to screen for a great (spectrum) of threat."

LOL.... DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz under pressure to resignwww.cnn.com/2016/07/22/politics/dnc-wikileaks-emails/Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz will not have a major speaking role or preside over daily convention proceedings this week, a decision reached by party officials Saturday after emails surfaced raising questions about the committee's impartiality during the Democratic primary.
The DNC Rules Committee on Saturday named Rep. Marcia Fudge, D-Ohio, as permanent chair of the convention, according to a DNC source. She will gavel each session to order and will gavel each session closed.
"She's been quarantined," another top Democrat said of Wasserman Schultz, following a meeting Saturday night.
Wasserman Schultz reluctantly agreed to relinquish her speaking role at the convention here, a sign of her politically fragile standing. But party leaders are now urging the Florida congresswoman to vacate her position as head of the party entirely in the wake of leaked emails suggesting the DNC favored Clinton during the primary and tried to take down Bernie Sanders by questioning his religion.
Democratic leaders are scrambling to keep the party united, but two officials familiar with the discussions said Wasserman Schultz was digging in and not eager to vacate her post until after the November elections.
While Wasserman Shultz may be in danger of losing her job soon, she originally had no plans to seek re-election to her post.
Her stewardship of the DNC has been under fire through most of the presidential primary process, but her removal from the convention stage comes following the release of nearly 20,000 emails.
One email appears to show DNC staffers asking how they can reference Sanders' faith to weaken him in the eyes of Southern voters. Another seems to depict an attorney advising the committee on how to defend Hillary Clinton against an accusation by the Sanders campaign of not living up to a joint fundraising agreement.
