-Worked out. -Bought 550 rds of Hornady 75 gr steel BTHP. -Organized our food storage in the upstairs walk-in closet. -Found a *range really near me* that not only has a 300-yard range, but also offers classes and allows you not to be married to the bench.

Began house beautification sequence, started by tearing out all low level pokey/evergreen/cheap-ass shrubbery around the foundation. Hated that crap since we moved in, now it's finally gone.
Now I need to deal with the metric ton of cheap-ass crushed red granite so I can pull out all the nasty weed block, and get some color installed.
Project "Lets get rid of this Pig" has officially started.

Unsubscribed from all the patriot networks, tea party and whatever else. I never read them and it just clogs up my mail box. Maybe not a great prep but I'm done talking.

There's a guy at work that's addicted to those things. Sometimes he starts to sound like an echo chamber. I get it, I do - but I don't need to hear about it every 3 min or whenever he sees me. Fishing would be an acceptable substitute once and a while...
On topic -
I've done a fair amount of labor and love for the family, so I'm going to start piecing together a small, functional gym for nXP. Hope to pick up a used skid-steer tire tomorrow, and cleaning up the garage for some pain space...

Swung past to get said tire - too damn big to get in the car, and she's portly to match. I'm not pushing it back home 35miles away, although that could be a sick workout in some capacity.
Need to find a smaller tire. In the mean time, designing plans for a PVC dip station that can double duty into some other exercises...

Since I'm not ending my fitness endevours... I ordered an Ab Wheel, a 40 lbs dumbbell and a set a push up bars. Now, if I don't have time to take the kids to the gym I can still use this equipment at home. I do need another 40 lbs dumbbell and a chin up bar. Damn budget. Anywho, I ordered this off Amazon. I opted for free shipping which would have been $43.50. I could have bought this stuff local but that would require me going to Walmart and I just can't. I cussed at a lady yesterday at Autozone. I had to carry two struts for my wife's VUE out and she stood right behind me as I turned she stepped in front of me. I said "Excuse me." She stood there, I said "Fucking Jesus, can you wait and let me walk through?" She stood there. I called her a rude idiot. The clientele at Autozone in the evenings is....taxing. I just need to go there when the lot is empty. It's only the second time I've almost lost it on an idiot. I'm not doing well in public.

No matter how many political action groups pop up with the intent of trying to fix things they seem to all either get co-opted by factions of existing political parties or they loose any credibility through negative spin by the much $$$larger$$$ interest groups to whom they're a threat; with a coup de grais delivered by self proclaimed members who's appearance, manner, and rhetoric leave one with the impression that they're auditioning to play the part of the Uni-B*mber in an upcoming B-movie. Res Lavabo manus.

The last few months have been a bit busy. Kept on with the gym (5x5 training)...until I strained/tore a glute. Before that sidelined me I'd gotten to the point where I was doing my BP reps with 170lbs, OP with 80lbs, and the squats were at 180lbs. Tried heading back into the gym after 4 weeks and screwed up the glute again. May have to wait a while...
June 9th I had PRK surgery. So far my vision has healed to around 20/30, far better than what I had before (I had diopters of -4.25 and -4.5. The clinic wants me to wait until 6 months after surgery before we consider an adjustment/enhancement which is fine by me.
Last but not least, just spent a crap-ton of $$$ getting ready for a trip in October to survey a bit of remote property where I'm planning on building a home next summer.

Finally talked my hose house buddies into ordering some CAT-T's to carry with them when they go hunting. It took some doing, because these guys tend to be cheap bastards. I helped make the case by bragging about running away with their wives to the islands and spending their pensions after they shoot themselves in the leg and bleed out for lack of said TQ...
Also ordered a Crosbreed holster for one of my buddies. His coin, my account. That new XD(s) isn't going to do any good sitting at home in his basement.
I'm prepping by keeping my friend safe.

Doomsday is nigh for me in the form of a baby daughter due next month!!! My preps have been focused on a nursery and the insane amount of shit needed for a baby! Working out has all but ceased for me, I am starting to feel it. Working outdoors all day in the brutal SC lowcountry summer wipes me out, but it is time to get back on it. The protector instinct is really starting to take hold of me. My armory is going well, though. I have all the parts now for my SPR/DM build and we are putting together a 200m bermed range on the property Deer season has already started, too...time to fill the freezer.

So how long is formula shelf stable? Dunno, we're going all mother's milk. With the breast pump we can freeze milk in serving portions:) If I remember correctly, it can store frozen for a few months no problem.
