Wow, these two ass clowns have opinions of Glocks no one else holds. Wow, you set up some malfs and made a video. Assclowns.

G26 hate is not welcome here. In other Glock news - www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2013/12/robert-farago/breaking-glock-42-revealed/Called it! 380 single stack.. Sort of meh about it, but if it has the standard G trigger and holds true to dimensions, I'm still gonna crush on it. Hard. (not a finger ridge one on that sexy, slim little beast. Damnit Glock, why you put those damn finger nubbin's on yer plastic!) ETA - 475MSRP? WTF? Glock you cray!

But, these guys are like experts. Look at how well their intro video is made! "No pistol should cost more than $400." LOL, I guess you guys are into shitter BNIB guns and big fans of police trade ins. Aside from a few PTO used guns I've seen on occasion there isn't a non-rimfire pistol $400 and under I would own, let alone stake my life on. Love the "Getting Lots Of Cops Killed" acronym. That must have taken a whole 45 seconds to think of. I seriously think they dropped the ball on the .380..... I heard exactly zero people in the last ever barking for one, but everybody had been wanting a single stack 9MM for millennia. Ancient cave drawings depicted early man's desire for a single stack 9MM Glock, how did you miss that??! Oh yeah, a funny occurrence from the annual X-Mas range day: a buddy got a Hi-Point in .40 from his brother. As if that wasn't enough, both were in attendance when it failed to chamber a round from the magazine. It fired two rounds, both dropped into the chamber manually after repeated failures to rack a round in. I thought about telling them how I would make shooting a Hi-Point work which involves placing the Hi-point downrange, dangling from a string tied to a target stand, taking sight alignment on it with my Glock and pressing to the rear. I bit my tongue and held back a lot of laughter.

While I am still a bit leery about Gen 4 Glocks, I am fully aware that my leeriness is emotional and not grounded in facts at this point. I also think the whole, (We bought one Glock and it had some issues, therefore all Gen 4's are shit.) is stupid. They should have sent it back to Glock or contacted Glock for parts. If it still didn't work after the fix maybe there would be some meat to the video. Still an anecdote, but something that might make you think.
I want to see more data on the Gen 4 pistols. I want to see a bunch of them run hard at classes. I have read many favorable anecdotes, many along the lines of; (I bought this pistol, initially it had problems, but Glock sent me some type of upgrade and now it is reliable.) Mainly, this just reinforces my belief in not buying any new generation of gear (vehicles, firearms, electronics, etc.) until at least a few years after it comes out.

Anyone know if those Glock .380's are going to be less than their other stuff kinda like Sig does?
Or are they going to be the same price as a G-26?
I'd pick one up if they're less, but I'd be way happier about a single stack 9.

I have a G-17 4th Gen that I've run approx 1,000 rds through, no problems whatsoever.

Browning - initial speculation has them (g42) around 475. Too much for a 380 IMO, but hopefully that number trends down to the 400ish.
If anything, Glock has a history of over designing on the smaller side, then adjusting to fit the larger caliber (see g17 to G22, etc). Would not surprise me to see a single stack 9 appear next year. Proof of the pudding's going to be in the mag well.
Still gonna get me a G4G26.

Welp, that video is absolutely crap. My Gen 3 Glock 26 is utterly reliable, I've shot it sooo much that I could not touch the slide because it was scalding hot. Still fired. They were setting up those malfs, I watched one of their other videos, they're Glock haters. The one I watched they were putting dirt all in the a Glock 17 and bitching it wouldn't run and said it was shit. Then they wipe dirt on a Beretta M9, it runs a little better and they decide it's orders of magnitude better than the 17. I'm not a M9 hater, but come on. They are good at editing though.

Well with that MSRP ($389, which means it'll probably be less eventually) I'll be getting one. Might wait 6 months to a year for any possible bugs to get worked out.
Give me the opportunity to get that .308 I've been needing. Still undecided on a bolt (Savage or a Tikka most likely), get an FAL or give PTR another shot.

Still no issues with my PTR. Oh, yeah, the daffy duck ray gun I now lust after has a fixed barrel. That means booster-less suppression. In and do want. Cook me up a $300 9mm can. Yes, please.
