Just found that Triji. I guess there's a reason I've got mostly Nikon and Leupy scopes in the house. Still, the one Triji I got to play with (Kutter's) was just wonderful. Sharp image, great recticle, low light compatible, built like a brick outhouse. Lots to like except for the price. Just got done looking for 300BLK barrels... what the heck, where'd they all go? Oh well, plenty of time before next season to play with it, and worst case scenario I just get a 9" barrel for the pistol or put in my 200 bucks and wait for a year... Or, ya know, just keep using the SKS.

I know loads of folks that take many, many poodles with SKS boolits.

Yes (wrings hands evilly) release the new wonder 380 and tempt all those fools into dumping their 26's.... Muahahahahaha.... Seriously, I'd be surprised if it isn't a 380. G doesn't have anything on the consumer side for one of the most popular growning markets in the SD area. Lots of folks are jumping on the 9Kurtz bandwagon - it would make sense to have a product in that area. That said - if'n its a true pocket Glock, even in 380, I'mma crush hard on it. Hard.

Hey, RTF, looks familiar? Looks like more the PHLster Access/Skeleton series. Jon actually encourages copy of his designs, so there are a lot of clones running around. Looks like it's as solid as Jon's stuff. I try not to direct copy things too much as establishing your own flavor of holster is really all you can do. I'm glad pretty much all the competitors are more like a community and constantly drive innovation. I'm actually tooling up for some new manufacturing processes based on info a competitor generously provided. If the G42 is seriously the single stack 9 everybody is waiting for I will be buying one. I'm not much for small guns personally, but the holsters will sell like crack-laced hotcakes. And thus begins the story of how I started carrying two guns..... Could care less about .380, the round just doesn't do anything for me. Please don't do a .380!

Yeah, I'm not interested in a super small gun or a 380 either. I want a G26 sized single stack Glock that is 0.95" wide. That would save 0.30" off the current 26. That would be quite nice.

And the first teaser pic arrives!
Gripforce adaptor and +2 baseplate and it should be GTG. Finally, something without finger grooves! Alright, serious note, I was thinking a full line of single stacks would be cool. I really like the feel of a Shield (verry nice!) vs. an M&P compact, but still don't really like subcompacts. Something with the grip length of a Shield with the extended mag and the barrel length of a 19 would be sweet. Single stacks always feel way more natural to grip. Maybe I just need a beater grade 1911 to blast once in a while for fun.

Oh man that made me laugh out loud.
Now I have to explain what I'm doing on my work computer...

I was looking at these carbon fiber stocks for my fairy weight 16" build. Thoughts on the open vs. closed? I like the snag less design of the closed version, but I'd like to save weight. I wonder how durable the open version is if the lower part of the buttpad section gets slammed forward, potentially snapping that part off of the tube or bending it forward. Also, no stock mounted QD mount. I wonder if they would add one. Hmm...

I'll tell you something interesting. For gigglez I held a Bersa BP9CC the other day. Holy freak. If a Glock made a single stack, that would be it. I was very surprised at how it felt. The grip angle was very Glockish, and the trigger/sights weren't too shabby. I might pick one up if these rumors don't pan out.

10:8 - Goodness, here I thought ACE had the lockdown on uncomfortably sparse stocks. That seriously looks like a Russian tried to make something expensive materials for the AR after realizing it wouldn't fit on his AK. Definitely needs to be a side-folder on a subgun of some sort, though.
And that Bersa is the shiz for a singlestack 9. More rounds than a Nano, same feel as a Glock, trigger on the one I shot was outstandingly light for a carry gun. Mag's are expensive and hard to find up here, and it's got that goofy lock. Nice little gun, priced a little cheaper than a Shield up here (420 vs 450), but Shields are more prevalent and have a stronger aftermarket.

Yes, I wrapped a mitt around the bursa single stack 9, it was pretty awesome. Good trigger pull, reports say it's reliable but it was 399 and that's the same scratch as a shield. Anyway, I'm going to save up for the G40-42, what ever they are.

Hmm, hadn't even heard of this single stack Glock-like Bersa. Have to look out for it.
Haven't been in a Gunstore in ages though. There was so little ammo for so long I've just been doing everything online. Also haven't been reading any gun magazines except for the rag the NRA sends me.
