I bought several 10 round PMags awhile back. I've had a little trouble with the Lancer and USGI-type aluminum ten rounders, but so far the MagPuls have been flawless. What I'm wanting to try are a few of those 25 round 308 PMags......Don't know why, just do.

Kiwis are getting a redesigned AUG. Do want. I now have the inspiration for my Stg556 paint job.

^^secksay.
Whoop-whoop, it's bang season for poodles here! I didn't have a chance to sight in the AR for the bullets I wanted to use, so it's off to the backup for brush/slashings duty. Looking back at it, my little paratrooper SKS has taken quite a few deer...

Huh, turns out all those super cool guy ninja masters who cut down their Glock 34s to Glock 19 frame size are wasting their time.
I think this guy said it wasn't worth the effort for 75fps. Sorry, I'm in a mood and being an ass but I've been dogpiled too many times for saying it wasn't worth it.
I say Glock 19 and leave it alone. Or Glock 26 but then again, I'm not trying to punk someone out to make myself look better.

Extra muzzle velocity vs a 19 wan't really a concern for me. I did it more for magazine interchangeability. I can buy a 15 round magazine with a lot less difficult than a 17 rounder now. Having shot a 19 a bit now I do like the tiny bit of extra grip length on the back strap, and the marginal reduction makes it a quite a bit more comfortable when sitting.
Also, fun project was fun. The day I own anything that I don't tinker with or customize is probably the same day I push daisies.

That's a totally reasonable reason to do it. If you like messing with your gear, cool, I have stippled my Glocks.
I was complaining about the folks who did that then turn around and are asshats about it like they added +4 attack death points to it and I was a total noob for not doing anything to my gun.

I was thinking that people did it for a little better concealability (the grip/butt sticks out a little more than the slide) and for the added sight radius.
Those are the arguments I've generally seen. I imagine there are some that think it automatically turns it into some sort of death ray though

Uhm, they're subtracting ammo. They get -4 attack points. Don't these guys understand anything?? I'm surprised anybody would actually care enough about the 1/2-3/4 inch difference between 19 and 17 enough to berate somebody for it. Browning, it does seem to print a bit less, but it seems pretty marginal. The difference in comfort when sitting was notable though. The bottom of the magazine would contact the back of a chair, pressing the slide plate nicely into the bottom of my ribcage. Doesn't do that anymore. Sight radius is meh, I'm not that super calibrated a human to even tell the difference. Speaking of stipple, anybody have any good tricks for cleaning it? The RTF2 frame and stipple just seem to eat any patches, cloth, paper towels ect. that I try. Stuff is really starting to get funky looking....... I'm about ready to take it to the carwash, hang it from a floormat holde by the lanyard hole and spray the snot out of the frame with soap, water, and spot free rinse. Anybody try this ammo yet? Looks legit.....

Woo! SKS wins again, does on the pole for the weekend. It's a shame that thing has the ergonomics of a 2x4, it's so easy and handy in the brush (Chi-Paratrooper). I think I may pick up another lower and make a 300BLK version if possible. Sully stock, carbon tube, 14.5" pencil barrel and hider to get me to 16", nice a light. Wonder if Triji makes an ACOG for 300BLK. Light, quick, low recoil and in JMB's chosen caliber - 0.3xx. In other news, I hate the standard AR front sight. Russians and everyone else had it right, put a circle in a circle or a post in a V.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the standard AR-15 front sight post. It's a range finder but yeah, no.
Trij does make a 300 Blk, yeah, $1200. Nikon and Leupold make 1x5 300 Blk reticles, $200-300.
14.5" 300, secky. Pics. I'm an official 300 Blk ho!
