I was at PSA and they showed me a KelTec 22 mag pistol. No shit, it had blown up within 5 rds. Do not buy that POS pistol, it looks cool, should be cool but I've personally seen a bunch blown up, this is like the 5. I think they all blow up eventually if you actually shoot them. That sucks. It would suck even more if they weren't as rare as confirmed Bigfoot sightings, but still, sucky. |

I have a P32 that works alright, only a few hundred RDS through it though. Not like I'm buying a bunch of .32 ACP.

I'd say steer well clear of Kel Tec. The Keltec 22mag semi has ALWAYS been a disaster - I think the moment it came out there were failures and the stupid thing is still being produced.. One thing I never understood is why there's not more 22Mag revolvers. It's not like you can't shoot 22LR out of a 22Mag revolver. Ruger really missed the boat on that one when they pooped out the 22LR LCR. They should have up sized the cylinder a smidgen and made it a 22mag with 7rds in it. It would have sold and been a better value than their 22Lr version. |

This critter is why the wife and I will be daily carrying 10mm rather than 9mm. By local standards it's "medium" or "average" size, not large.  ![]() Sent to me from our local shooting club, they were setting up for a pistol event and this bruin just wandered up. No mention was made of harming the bear, AFAIK as long as it didn't charge/threaten anyone there the usual response is to let it be while keeping a watchful eye on it. BTW...OM, sure you don't want to come up and take it's temperature or put a radio collar on it?  |
