Maybe when I retire I will carry a 1,500$ boat anchor. Until then I need the gun to fit my lifestyle. Would be a pimpin range toy though.

Maybe when I retire I will carry a 1,500$ boat anchor. Until then I need the gun to fit my lifestyle. Would be a pimpin range toy though. I carried a full size 1911 Govt Model for a long time when I lived in AZ in the 90's and worked at a gun store. Didn't seem that bad then (then again I was young and happy as a MF'er to be carrying legally...Cali didn't allow such things). Went to a BHP, then a CZ and then a Glock 19. Usually go back and forth between a BHP and a Glock of some sort, although the Glock's are usually getting the nod these day just cause if they get scratched I don't really care that much. Up to present day : Either I got old, lazy or I'm not as enthused about lugging a several pound gun for the privilege of 8-rds as I once was (or a combination of all 3), but I tried carrying that Sig P220 Supermatch that I had for awhile and that shit was work. Every time I went to sit down if there was an armrest on the chair the butt end jammed me in the ribs. Kinda want another 10mm in either a 1911 or a Sig, but I'm totally thinking range toy or trying my hand at a handgun only hog hunt.

I don't need a 10mm, I don't need a 10mm, I don't need a 10mm. Between my own guns and the ones I inherited from my Dad and Grandpaw, I already have to get a running start to close the doors on both my safes.....but seriously, I would like to have a 10mm of some flavor.
The only 10mm I've ever shot was a rental G20, and that was back when Bush was still President.....the 1st Bush.

So, I'm making a trunk monkey. AR pistol to be Spiffic. Anywho, I have 2 options, 300 blackout or 5.56 with a 10.5" barrel. Running irons but thoughts? Both are $85-100.

Oh well, instead of gunsmith, I ended-up having to play plumber today instead.

Can't remember if I've asked, can we still run the bare buffer tube from the shoulder after the whole SB15 debacle? If so I'm building another pistol with a LAW adapter..mebbe a 6" 9mm with Glock mags..

I'm not 100% sure but I don't think you can shoulder the AR pistol at all. You can put a LAW folder on it though. You don't make it 123% more deathly by shouldering, we all know what that can do. HERP.

Yes, Yes you do.

I concur, you need a 10mm, hence why I have 2. You never know when you'll need to Akimbo a couple 10mms.

I like having a 10mm, with a .40 Smith barrel I can go from the lowest of the low least expensive powderpuff .40 load all the way to up to the equivalent of a magnum load with the full house 10mil load. Kind of cool in that there's such a broad range available in one gun.
Still haven't reached my goal of killing anything with it, but maybe at some point.
