I'm not a mod doe, Browning is the heavy handed, improper use of the rules and making shit up as he goes mod.

Well, I missed the email from Midway saying the OD green Zhukov handguards were back in stock....and now they're out again. But DSG says they got 'em, so I ordered a set from them.
Really hoping they live-up to the hype.

Oh, I forgot to tell y'all. I came home last night and there was a package on my doorstep. I thought "I wonder what I ordered". So I took it inside and opened it. Seems my backorder from Sportsman Guide finally came. 6 more 20 round mags for the m1a. Woot!!

Seems my backorder from Sportsman Guide finally came. 6 more 20 round mags for the m1a. Woot!! What kind did you get? I ordered some from SG around 10 years ago. They had the light grey finish and, IIRC, were Korean. I tried loading them and couldn't get more than 8 rounds in them......took them apart and all five of them had two springs inside. Removed the spare springs they were so kind to include, and they loaded and ran just fine.  |

Speaking of Korean milsurp - I heard a rumble through the underground that there was potential for the lost Garands to show up stateside for purchase. Any one else caught this rumor mill? NXP wants, NXP wants very, very, VERY bad...

I read $400-500 on the Garands and they're importing 1.5 mil. Daddy really needs a coverted 308 tanker garand.

Keep hearing that they are, then they aren't, then they are...(repeat) Wish I'd never sold my M1 Garands, M1 Carbines or that Italian BM-59. Really, really accurate If they're $4-500 I'm definitely buying one. Still have that glass display case that I had my other WWII stuff in (Finnish, German and Soviet for the most part). |
