Not even close. My wife lost her job, so while we're making it. Just not a whole lot extra.

Not even close. My wife lost her job, so while we're making it. Just not a whole lot extra. I know that feeling, BTDT. Hang in there. Yeah, it sucks. Eventually my wife will get another job. Just not sure she'll be making what she was. --- At any rate I'm assigned back out at my previous station and as the resident gun nut I'm helping a co-worker assemble an AR. It's his first. So that's the one gun/preparedness activity that I've been doing lately. (Other than going out every few weeks to keep some semblance of gun handling skills alive I'm not doing a whole lot in survival and preparedness). I went to a gun shop awhile back and had the opportunity to dry fire a Sionics Enhanced Mil-Spec trigger. Man, that thing is awesome. I like it better than a Geissele. So I told him about both the LaRue and the Sionics. Plus the Sionics is nickel boron (NiB) coated, so when you do actostrip the receiver down it's a lil easier to clean. It's this trigger ... sionicsweaponsystems.com/store2015/lower-receiver-parts/47-bolt-carrier-group-hpmpi-tested-with-np3-carrier.htmlIt's really sweet. At the shop it was in this rifle ... sionicsweaponsystems.com/store2015/home/9-patrol-ssk-12.htmlI'be been seriously considering selling some guns to afford that rifle. I've heard of the brand Sionics before, but usually it's in reference to their suppressors. They don't have that name brand recognition that Colt, Daniel Defense, Noveske, BCM or some of the other gun companies have. However I was really impressed by them. Packed full of little features that are usually on rifles costing a few hundred dollars more. If you're ever in a gunstore and you have a chance check them out. Edit : Links

One of the mods at M4C works for Sionics. Supposed to be very nice rifles.
Totally cool if not but I know you said money's a bit tight at the moment and I've been looking at that G rapid fire trigger. I'll buy it off you if you're not liking it as much as you'd thought.
<Unabashed G fanboi.. this would be my third.
None of my guns have mil triggers anymore. Not that there's anything wrong with them.

During such times I just don't buy anything new, but I try not to sell anything, I slowly bleed out my ammo excess ammo (which is why I stock it to the rafters), go shooting at places that I have a paid for membership for, use paper bags from work and my impact plates as targets etc etc. We'll be okay. Edit : When we do get back on our feet I'm almost certainily buying either than Sionics or that lightweight Daniel Defense though.
