Mainstream broadcast and print media are more info-tainment than news, and quite obviously primarily political propaganda machines for the political left.
YouTube, where most alternative news sources reside has recently started to effectively censor the channels of those alternative news sites, as well as political commentators, which don't lean towards the SJW perspective.
Google is tweaking their search engine to favor the SJW/left leaning side of things.
It's as if there is a concerted effort to deny anyone who isn't pro-SJW/BLM et al a platform from which to be heard.
At the same time I've noticed a few things-
A number of more prominent YouTube reporter/commentator types have left the online YouTube centered organization(s) with whom they were employed or affiliated. Gavin McInnes mentioned he was leaving his position and had been offered a radio talk show in NYC but that something "much bigger" was in the works.
Milo has mentioned that he was working to help create new organization to ensure free speech and reporting.
It's also been interesting to watch over the last year or so as many of these different personalities have made connections, almost a web or network of mutual support.
Now Steve Bannon, former head of Brietbart News, leaves his position at the White House.
A White House that has been under siege by a quite obviously biased and hostile press since even before the inauguration. A White House where the sitting president openly states that the press lies, reports "fake news", and are shills for the political left. A president who uses Twitter, for better or worse, as it's the only way he believes he can ensure getting his thoughts and words out undistorted to the nation.
Why will I not be at all surprised to see a new multimedia News Network spring up, one that is Internet based but with a broadcast presence as well, with a lot of these YouTube personalities involved, and Steve Bannon either running the network or financing it?
Perhaps someone believes Bannon can be of more benefit to the nation working from outside the White House than from within?
Thoughts?
