Hey all! My name is Matt, aka "Matty" or "Matty B". I'm a 35-year old male conservative from southwestern Connecticut (which is, unfortunately, liberal country). If you want to get specific, I'd say that I'm a "closet Libertarian" on the political spectrum. I'm quite active in my local Republican Party, where I have many friends, including some in state political office. Personally, I was planning to run for a seat on my city council this year. However, due to time constraints, I won't be able to do that. As for my other interests, they include radio and broadcasting, music, political debate (obviously), sports, and pro wrestling.
I believe that the notions of "liberty and justice for all" are not just words in the Pledge of Allegiance. Rather, they are the ideals that all Americans should strive to achieve. When Americans are free to run their lives the way they see fit, America is strong, and the world is a better place. As such, we should make it our personal mission here to not only win elections and govern well, but educate those that aren't already in our camp about the cause of freedom. Let's speak up, and not be afraid to say what needs to be said.
In closing, I'm very happy to be here, and I look forward to sharing ideas with all of you. Let's do this!
