I like small kubatons. This is some good info IMO. These are small defensive weapons that can make a difference.

I never thought much of kubotans. Never been trained on them either. His way of using it makes sense. I am reevaluating my opinion.

Before anyone thinks Im trying to come across as some cold blooded killer, bear in mind I've never even been in a fight as an adult and have certainly never been in armed conflict. That said, I don't feel the same apprehension about knives as defensive tools. Any armed conflict scares me, honestly, but I don't personally differentiate mentally depending on the weapons in play. If I use a brick, knife, pistol, or whatever, Im just trying to end it quickly. Violence is violence. Some people sustain horrific injuries in fistfights and walk away from shooting or stabbings almost unscathed. Just my (inexperienced) .02c...
Cool videos, though! Marcaida is badass. Funker is a little flashy for me but you can see the skill is there.
