Thought we could use a thread to mention the odd tips and tricks that don't quite warrant their own thread, you know...the things that make you go "ah...that's clever".
Here's one to start:
If you're looking for a cheap and ready made Faraday cage to store small electronics, try a burned out/broken microwave. If it keeps microwaves in, it should keep them and larger electromagnetic waves out. And how cheap are used/broken microwaves?
