I'd just like to say that these fucks are not in a religion. One of the commandments says do not take the Lords name in vain. Well, this is all they are doing. They're using the name of God to commit evil acts which is an unforgivable sin. Since we are supposed to be like our lord we are well within rights to end them, not with malice but if we kill them, we are not committing evil.
Apart from they're mass murder incorporated.
And they're not a religion because they're a Death Cult.

One man's devout practioner is another man's terrorist... One man's interpretation of a religion is anathema - - because it's not the same as MY interpretation... I'm going to hell because I haven't been 'saved', but a murderer who is 'saved' is going to meet his maker and sit in the cool kidz row in heaven...  |

Really? ISIS is not a death cult.
Westboro is a cult, just not one of death.
There is no other religion that says kill anyone who isn't a believer.
I do not believe you are going to hell if you do not believe like I do. I don't even believe in hell. You can make it for yourself, but as in an actual place, nope.
I don't believe in heaven either.
I believe in a loving and forgiving God who gives us infinite chances for redemption and enlightenment.
No a single soul has to believe like I do. My God does not require it. My God loves all of you no matter what.

Overall and as a generalization I'd say your assessment is correct. In the case of this particular belief system I'd say it was, in fact a death cult. I have a few friends over here who are Muslim. While I can't tell them this, I'm glad that they're very bad at following all the dictates of their faith. Most of them seem to be searching for a loophole somewhere in their religious writing that says "others" can be okay people. This one is a shit religion. Truly. That doesn't mean that there is a religion out there that is the "one true faith:, nor does it mean that it should be open season on anyone who doesn't buy into "my" or "your" faith. Just that a faith at says, "Kill the unbelievers" tells me that is probably not a faith belonging to a deity that belies in free will; and frankly I'm more than willing to go against any deity that says I can't be free to choose as I will. I might be a mouse vs his/her Lion, but I'll do my best to rip off it's testicle before I start my time roasting on coals in hell just on fucking principle. I don't care how all powerful you may be...I'm not kowtowing. |

I'm not a religious guy, I take things that make sense and agree with those things. I agree with how the guy laid it down about the 10 commandments. I've always agreed with them.
I do not agree with many other things in the bible so I'm not a Christian.

With a solid and concrete definition any mortal can determine if something meets said definition. |
