Well, looks like it's finally happened. A major attack in western Europe, and I suspect that later it will be determined that some of the attackers were either "refugees" or had been trained by ISIS operatives who entered Europe as "refugees".
This is going to get very nasty and very ugly, and it's going to upset quite a few liberal schools of thought....
Not to sound overly alarmist, but if your area ends up receiving a largish number of "refugees" I'd suggest upping your EDC to include wearing soft body armor and keeping a GO bag with PDW and a plate carrier w/plates. Skip going to the malls (Amozon instead).
<Sigh> This is why the world can't have nice things.....

Only good thing about this attack is that maybe Europe will now put a halt to those huge long lines of 'migrants' coming in.
Or maybe not.

Or the 10,000 "refugees" that supposedly arrived in NOLA recently.
Western society has to divest itself of the navel gazing, self esteem boosting, hypocritical feel-good pseudo-philosophical doctrine of "Political Correctness" or it will die. Period.

Only good thing about this attack is that maybe Europe will now put a halt to those huge long lines of 'migrants' coming in. Or maybe not. What is needed is a LARGE unpopulated island somewhere. Let the refugees be placed there until the mess in Syria and Iraq stabilities enough for them to return home. Doesn't matter what shape the island is in, if the money being spent on this were redirected housing, sanitation, and water supplies to be built/installed/drilled.

No objection from me. Heck, push the "butter-knife brigade" concept on them (those who claim they've been run out of their own country). Give a brigades worth of men a butter-knife each. Tell them to go sharpen it on a stone, and when sharp they should walk up to a lone bad guy (ISIS fighter in this case), stab him and take his weapon. Then hand off the butter-knife to someone else. Wash, rinse, repeat. You'll loose a lot of bodies, but you should end up with at least a company's worth of armed men at the end, and the bad guys won't be sleeping all that soundly. Really, maybe it's time to drop some "Liberator" pistols.

Really awful what happened. The wife and I were fortunate enough to spend 3 weeks traveling in France a few years ago, much of it in rural areas but also in the major cities. The French people were really wonderful, and the average French citizen was even at the time furious that their major cities were being completely taken over by muslims who had no desire to assimilate. Paris, outside of the core old city tourist areas, is a middle eastern slum, as are many of their other major urban areas.
So, why does the average French or U.S. citizen get it, but their government does not?

So, why does the average French or U.S. citizen get it, but their government does not? I dont think the average citizen 'get's it'. The average citizen is controlled by 'feels' and not logic. The 'average' citizen is WHY these are happening. Because the average citizen is content to sit in their sofa watching the tube instead of learning and understanding what's going on around them. Because the average citizen is only guided by the masses and the occasional pop culture smiling face. Because the average citizen is a (dare I say it) Sheeple.... A week and a half ago, my wife who works in a school, had a number of people stopping by the school to vote. There were no elections in the area. The closest election was 20 minutes up the road, an election for a town seat. Some of these people were getting belligerent because they were not allowed to vote. Make no mistake, they are among us, and they are the rule, not the exception...

Maybe being a little harsh, scbrian. I think if you asked your average citizen if they thought taking in tens of thousands of 'immigrants' from countries with known terrorist leanings was a good idea they would say something along the lines of "well hell no!" It's more apathy to do anything about it, or more like learned helplessness, because the eleet call you a racist dirtbag if you suggest otherwise.

Perhaps then it is a Pavlovian response after being caller dirt bag, racist, etc, that most are content to sit on their couch and keep their mouth shut. ex: Rob Lowe tweets: "Oh, NOW France closes its borders. #Hollande" And comes under a string of fire, even from Fox news: "Lowe's ill-timed and insensitive tweets as dozens are declared dead in Paris were met with criticism of its own from his Twitter followers, who called out the actor for his lack of tact." www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2015/11/13/rob-lowe-insensitive-paris-tweets-spark-twitter-backlash869085/?intcmp=hpbt3The fact is that the governments want their citizens to "shut up, sit down and be quiet" and would like us to "Trust us, were here to help". And whether it's because of the constant bashing and insults for speaking their mind and logic, or just the general apathy, the average citizen fills this role. In response to your question, is that they are being asked to take in thousands of fleeing helpless perfectly innocent refugees from war torn countries. It's the same thing, but one hits them in the 'feels' and one doesn't. And the average Citizen isn't inclined (For most of the reasons above) to question the intake as long as it's "not in my back yard".

Really, maybe it's time to drop some "Liberator" pistols. To tell the truth with the exception of the Kurds I'm not in favor of arming any group in the entire region. Not even with single shot pistols. I mean look at the groups opposing ISIS in those places right now, the Houthi's in Yemen, Hezbollah, and the Shia militias in Iraq (the Badr Organization and the Mahdi Army), just as radical, fucked up and straight out insane as the radical Sunni's that support ISIS. The area is awash in weapons, if they really want to fight they'll have little trouble finding the tools to do so. They should just fuck off back to where they came from and leave the West alone. I get what you're saying, but I don't want to provide the migrants(invaders really, let's call them what they are) with anything except transportation away from the US, Canada and Europe. - Hopefully this will start a trend. For some countries the reaction has already begun. www.rt.com/news/322051-poland-rejects-refugee-quota/You guys hear about them slaughtering the people in wheelchairs in that theater? The whole thing is beyond messed up, but making war on children, elders, the disabled and others ill equipped to fight back highlights just how cowardly they are.
