Me. ETA: Easter weekend would be completely out for me. I work at a church, and they do a bunch of stuff around that time. Weird. It will not be easter week.

I'm in, but that is purely dependent on dates. We've already picked our FD vacation dates for next year, but I can potentially trade times to get another day here or there. I'll keep following this thread, and as we start to narrow down dates I'll try calling in some favors if need be. Also, went shooting with Arch of former ZS fame the other day, and he would be interested in attending as well. Arch? Awesome dude from what I recall. Did you invite him to sign up here? Arch is indeed an awesome dude, I see him fairly regularly. I've invited him to check things out here many times, but Arch is off the grid. There is no Arch...

Cars for extra $100? Yes please! I am in as long as I get 8 weeks notice. They have been putting out schedules extremely early lately.

Well, I'll just be sitting here, waiting for the announcement of class dates, meticulously cleaning my rifles and pistols and counting then recounting piles of ammo... No biggie... Not obsessed or anything...

Not obsessed or anything... How are you liking your middy so far? I'm going to grab another mid length from PSA this time in a month or two methinks.. I really like the 'dissipator' configuration. The rifle length handguard are great as far as bing able to push your front hand out and get a little more support toward the muzzle. If you're into attachments, it gets you a lot more rail space as well and gives you more options for placement. Having more separation between front and back sights when shooting irons is nominally more natural to shoot then the closer spaced irons on a carbine length as well. Plus, the dissy just looks cool, and it's always a little bit about looking cool, right? As far as the mid-length gas system, I haven't noticed a decrease in recoil impulse or increase in reliability (two of the supposed advantages) over my standard carbine-length Buttmaster M4gery. I've got my ACOG mounted on the dissy, and that's what I'll be bringing to the SC class, so running things a little harder might make some more negatives or positives come to light. I have absolutely no complaints with either my PSA lower or Spike's dissy upper. They are high quality and play well together.

I realize this will be a wild-ass guess at this point, but could you try and get a general round count for this class based on stuff you've done with this trainer in the past? I've always got enough boolits on hand for a class or two, but there are some really good ammo deals going right now. If we can get a very rough estimate I'll just order ahead so I don't have to dip into the stash.
ALSO. Dare I say it? Shotties? Even if it's just an hour or two of drills and skill work? I am far, FAR less experienced with mama 12 gauge than I am with a rifle or pistol, but it is a part of my home defense trifecta. Getting a few training rounds, tips and tricks in with the ol' 870 would do me good. Just a thought...

Check out the Esstac card if you havent already. Also, Cabelas has Herters 00bk for $2.99/10. Cycles well in my Wingmaster, doesnt pattern for shit at distance but for HD its fine.

I'm sure we can get some shotties in. I'm going to say at least 1000 per gun.
I'm contacting him Monday for dates.
