Force on force in real life scenarios instead of standing on a line? Oh yes please! Fuck yeah, sims are awesome out to 10-15yds (inside a building) but totally lose steam past that.
IIRC they should be doing 400 FPS (for comparison, max velocity for a paintball is 300 FPS) at the muzzle, and hardly have any mass.
Pointblank shots to bare skin are a little unpleasant, but less so than airsoft.
If anyone wants to come up here, we could maybe swing a day at NWTC's facility, using their training Glocks. It's a sweet setup for FoF.
I'm totally down for classes. NEED TO TRAAAAIIINNN...

So I'm finally working on upgrades to the SGL21's I ran stock years ago in the MilCopp Class.
I put a Zhuk folder on my trunk rifle, and a MOE front/X200 on the house rifle.
Ammo is still weighing my shelves down, but I might try to grab a few more cases of whatever groups best, as soon as I figure out what that is.
I ordered 9 Weapontech BHO followers from Primary Arms yesterday. Those are plastic now. I think they were steel when I first vowed to buy some.
Bulgy birdcage FH's and Krebs enhanced safeties are on the list next, with Ultimak/Aimpoint Micros possibly before spring.
I better train my ass off so I know how to use all this crazy swag...

I'm in, but that is purely dependent on dates. We've already picked our FD vacation dates for next year, but I can potentially trade times to get another day here or there. I'll keep following this thread, and as we start to narrow down dates I'll try calling in some favors if need be.
Also, went shooting with Arch of former ZS fame the other day, and he would be interested in attending as well.
