Two shot dead outside Muhammad Art Exhibit in Garland, TX:
www.wfaa.com/story/news/local/2015/05/03/garland-curtis-culwell-center-swat/26848435/Two men were shot and killed in a parking lot outside the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland Sunday afternoon, SWAT officials told News 8. The two suspects drove up and opened fire near the center, which was hosting a Muhammad Art exhibit, and hit a Garland ISD officer. Garland Police shot and killed the two men.
The Garland ISD officer, identified as Bruce Joiner, was shot in the lower leg and suffered non-life threatening injuries, according to a spokesman for Garland Police. He was in stable condition at a local hospital. Multiple SWAT teams and an FBI bomb squad were searching the area around the center for explosives in a vehicle.
Some SWAT members were already at the scene for the art event.

I really hope that just before they checked out they had a chance to look at each other and be all like "Dude. This is totally not how it was supposed to go. Did one guy with a pistol really just kill both of us before we had a chance to do any damage to these infidels?! So much fail..." We should definitely hold more of these contests as bait to draw the jihadis out into the open. Kind of like putting cheese in a rat trap, yes? ALSO, hooray for the second amendment and our boys/girls in blue! |

Also, a report on CNN (yea, I know) said the bad guys opened up and shot 20+ rounds, winging one guy in the leg. There was silence for a sec, then 2 shots fired. A few seconds later, 1 more.
Whoever the hell the guard was, he removed the threat with 3 rounds fired. That is absolutely beautiful. If true.

Anyone know the background on the cop who performed is such an exemplary manner? I mean, the odds are stacked against him fighting two asshats with rifles and WINNING with just a pistol, well, heck yeah.
I'd like to see his training sheet.
