I'm kinda "meh" at the thought of a stock for it, unless you're thinking along the lines of just for giggles. I think there are better dedicated PDWs out there and the 9mm subgun has been done before. I just keep thinking about the potential usefulness for CC of a full auto 9mm, . 380, ect. at belly-gun ranges.

Rotating barrel? Hammer? Selector? How can you not love it? Bueller?

I was doing a drill that sorta pertains to this discussion on Thursday. I had a target set up at 5 yards and one at ten. I was using my Glock 42. On the beep I dumped the mag into the 5 yard target then reloaded and dumped the mag into the 10 yard target. I think accuracy would have improved with full auto provided the ROF wasn't too high. It would have eliminated some movement (multiple trigger pulls). I think an ideal ROF would be around 5-7 rounds a second. That is what many well trained shooters can do on the clock with standard pistols (not race guns).
ETA Also something like the FN Five-seven pistol would make a lot more sense if it had select fire and didn't have artificial constraints on what bullet types are available to civilians.

Gosh darn it I forgot all about the 5.7.
FN quit being a whiny bitch and let everyone else play ball with your round - and make it cheaper! There's no reason for it to cost more than 45ACP. Get that price down to 40SW range, and start whoring that round to every firearm manufacturer out there.
People B&M all the time about how "oh the recoil's too hard with XXX caliber in my uber-micro-nanoplastic-mousegun, I need to downsize to a pup round with modestly capable penetration while keeping a gun that has as few rounds as possible". The 5.7 solves so many gripes it's comical, it just doesn't have a platform to shout from and the ammo costs keep casuals from looking at it.
If someone, ANYONE, made a 10+rd slim G19 sized 5.7 that didn't look like a Supersoaker reject, I'd be on it ricky tick.

That would be pretty badass.
Even if you forgot about burst or suppressed or anything else covered by the NFA. Hopefully increased sales would mean reduced ammo prices. Would make a hell of a walk around varmint/small game hunting pistol and high powered plinker.

YeahsZ! A compact 5.7 would be stupendous. Hopefully FN (who's making a semi-auto SAW) will react a little better to the market now that they're focused (like a laser) on the civilian market.
