I saw a lil video posted by Mrgunsngear on this stock/brace/ATF approved device but it's since been made private for some reason. Well, I was interested in a alternative to the Sig brace so I gave it a try. All in all, I like it, it's a 4 outta 5 for me. The CAA cheek rest is comfortable but a little loose. I pogoed it a few times and had the thing shifting out of it's locking points. The stock itself stayed strong and true. I grabbed some duct tape and fixed the slop in the cheek piece and now it's solid but for $135 I think it should stand on it's own. You can order the extension without the cheek piece and it feels fine without it just better with it. The cheek piece does add surface area to the end of the stock though. I'll update the thread after I shoot this thing. I hope they come out with a rubber but pad. The overall length is similar to the collapsible stock in the second position. Stock, locks in tight, note the end how it locks around the buffer tube. It's solid and has 2 QD points. End of the stock, kind of jinky but it works. There are spacers and sling loops there, it's all kind of weird how it all fits together and not all that well. Duct tape fixes everything. As you can see it's the same length. Duct tape fixing the gaps by pulling everything in tight, much more stable now. If you notice there are large gaps underneath the stock which contributes to the sloppiness. Best attempt to show the cheekweld and stock length. It's about perfect. On the 7.5" 300blkout upper. Legally speaking this is still a pistol and free state legal.

Pretty cool. Do you think it would work with a LAW adapter? I want a 5-6" 9mm upper with this brace-thing and a folding tube.

Interesting that they're coming up with alternatives for the Sig brace. Couple questions . . .
1A) Did you ever get a Sig brace? 1B) If so, how do they compare to each other?
2) Would gluing something like a thick cut up mousepad or other rubber pad on the end of it work as a rubber buttpad in lieu of waiting for that model to come out from the distributor and would that change the legality of it?
I mean the distributors coming out with a model that has that, so what difference would it make right? (For some reason I feel like it might matter for some reason though)

It sure looks nicer than the Sig Brace IMHO.

I've never even handled a sig brace. Not sure why. 1B: No idea. 2: I'm not sure, I don't think putting thin layer of rubber on it would change anything. I need to get their ATF approval letter and read it. ATF has determined this not to be a stock. It's about 80% of the way to being a stock. I think I'm going to set up my AK pistol with this. CNC Warrior has a Sig brace folder, come to think of it MAC has a MP5 clone with a folding stock Sig brace on it. Worst happens is they change their mind, again and I have to remove it. SBR laws are just silly and need to go away.
