That is moonbat crazy talk. Jesus. *Shakes head, wonders if anyone is taking this seriously* And have you heard about the tent set up on the whitehouse lawn for the French president. A FUCKING TENT FOR THE PRESIDENT OF FRANCE?!?!? Set up like a Monet painting with dogs in diamond necklaces. Yes, real dogs and they had some stupid phrase around their necks. What the ever loving fuck? Oh, and they set up a God damn trolley on the lawn. Really, did fucking Micheal Jackson move in? All the while there are 90 million out of work and jobs are being lost at an epic rate. Fuck you and your 19 types of potatoes. /Rant

I had to see if you were shitting us about the Monet-like scene with the tents and dogs for the President of France on the White House lawn. Guess you're not. www.politico.com/story/2014/02/francois-hollande-state-dinner-menu-103339.htmlFor the sake of accuracy though its only 12 different types of potatoes along with the dogs with diamond necklaces, heated tents and the Michael Jackson trolly.

I'm not so sure about our area and shutting down hospitals, we have had a number of clinics and "Doc-in-a-box" places close, mostly out in the rural areas as they were just not financially viable. I can tell you that we've been approached by a significant number of small community hospitals looking to partnership. The age of small community healthcare is gone.

I can tell you that we've been approached by a significant number of small community hospitals looking to partnership. The age of small community healthcare is gone. My wife used to work for a smaller (but awarded) rehab facility that experienced some major downsizing due to ACA. And when I say major I mean whole departments -- cafeterias, pharmacies (kind of important to have), and of course plenty of staff. It was like a sinking ship, and she eventually bailed for a larger, more financially secure employer (that wouldn't randomly call her off because they couldn't afford to not be understaffed). We got bills to pay like every one else. The place is still afloat thankfully, but man, it was pretty scary for a while.

www.navytimes.com/article/20140317/NEWS/303170027/Some-fast-food-outlets-closing-military-bases“ …Martin said new Labor Department rules issued last fall for fast food workers on federal contracts under the Service Contract Act require an increase in the minimum wage for such employees, varying by region. The rules also require payment of new, additional “health and welfare” fringe benefits at a rate of $3.81 per hour to those employees. Contractor-operated fast food concessions on military installations fall under those regulations. … In addition, President Obama recently signed an executive order that will increase the minimum wage for employees of companies with new federal contracts beginning Jan. 1. At that time, the minimum wage for all federal contract workers — not just those working for fast food concessions — will increase to $10.10 from the current $7.25. It is not yet known how far-reaching the effects will be for contracts on military installations. “ $13.91 for flipping burgers… with health care…

You know, I have as much work ethic as the next person, but it's getting to the point when it becomes more feasible to stop driving 30 miles each way to work, and to pick up a fast food job at about 15/hr with insurance, and maybe some cash gigs on the side. I think overall, with partial unemployment bene's and a shit ton of free time, I might end up better off... WTF are we (have we) become... smh.
