I used the talcum power that Sig recommended and it slops around some in that tennis racket case in addition to getting shot a fair amount and mine hasn't moved at all.

Browning, do you think that KAK (MI?) tube is worth it? I think my RRA is a bit too big, so after I used that mallet it seems to be on more or less permanently. It seriously feels like a fixed stock.

Yeah, I do. Because of that lip around the circumference of the tube it means that the brace won't keep traveling and being pushed forward til it hits your end plate. I've noticed on pics everyone with the regular pistol tubes that it does that after awhile and then it's a bitch to get back into place where the end of the brace is flush with the end of the tube. With regular pistol tubes it's just held on by friction unless there's some object holding it there (like that lip/protrusion).
On brand I went with M.I. as opposed to KAK simply because I wasn't going to use those spacer rings/collars that KAK uses to get more length out of it and because I own a bunch of MI accessories and I know they're okay. KAK might be okay too and they're probably decently made, but why take a chance?
The next AR pistol I build will have an MI tube as well, so I guess that says something.

I shot this pistol yesterday. The crazy flip up front sight is kind of cool. It has no recoil. Fire it as fast as you can pull that AK trigger. It is heavy for what it is, but the weight is in the right places and doesn't feel so heavy. You guys have shot AK's before. You know how front heavy they are. This thing feels more like a bullpup. It was damned accurate. We need to do some long range testing, but I am expecting AR like accuracy. I like the Sig brace better than that other plastic thing GBM was trying out.

Ok, Sig brace is 100% legitimate. Wow, much improved over the thordsen. I think the thordsen lacks a rubber endplate, that would help. I ran 77 otm through the gun and it cycles just fine, which is awesome. The extended birdcage flash hider does a poor job suppressing wolf and American eagle 55 gr. There was not visible flash with the 77gr. The gun can be run very quickly and there is zero recoil, the muzzle stays flat. It's not leaping around like other AKs. I timed them and within a few mags with the stock trigger I as hitting 0.15s splits. I think I can go faster with it. This maybe the end of my wasr 10/63.

Muaha the Sig brace strikes again. I pretty much scrapped my 16", it never got any love anymore after my pistol.

Since RE and I shot this the other day a little more, here's some impressions I had and some that RE stated. A. I really like this gun. He did too. B. It's very smooth and a flat shooter. What do I mean, the muzzle stays flat. There was no recoil, while it's about a pound heavier than an AR, it doesn't feel so. C. It's cadillac long, with it's flashhider it's almost as long as a 16.5" AK. D. Very accurate, amazingly so. I'm going to stretch it's legs a bit and post the results. E. Stock trigger is very good, appears to be a clone of the G2. Or the G2 is a clone of it, not sure. F. The USMachinegun folding stock is less than optimal. The folding portion is tight and doesn't fold or unfold very easily and takes quite a bit of hand strength. I do not recommend it. It was also wobbly out of the gate but I tightened it up with some velcro.
