Here is the backwards contorted side stepping of the NFA laws M85 PAP pistol in 5.56. It's graced with a 10.25" 1/7 chromelined barrel. It used a 1.5mm RPK receiver and the heavier RPK trunnion. Oh, you got wood yet, yeah, thought so. It uses 5.56 Yugo M70 mags that can be had from Bud's for $18. These maybe the strongest mags ever. Tapco also makes polymer mags for this gun. This gun came with the disgusting plastic Promag 30 rder. It will die a horrible death. I'll post pics and maybe a video? The bolt/bolt carrier are very chrome covered. My plans are for a tax stamp to return it to it's Krink glory for the Serbian homeland. It's getting a Magpul AK grip, Tapco G2 trigger group, a CNC Warrior RPK flashider, an ACE folding stock group and a Midwest Industries Keymod hand guard. Pre-Krink secky pics. Three dot sights and I've opened the rear notch from a sliver to a U Notch. Much better sight picture. Parts BARF! Yugo only 26.5mm RH tread pitch. Not even the commies can agree on a standard pitch. I'll have to order an adapter to run my can on it. Oh, life is tough. Chrome bore and brick shit house construction. With Promag inserted. Hate. Hate it. New kitten in the house! Her name is 'Stella' but I call her 'Little Bell'.

"I'm a Whore" update if anyone gives a damn.
I changed my mind after dry humping the Thordsen shoulderthingthatgoesup. I'm not going to SBR this one but instead I'm going to put a AR folding adapter on it with a Thordsen stock. I want to shoot it a bit like that and this is a strong canidate for sneaky bag sneakiness. If I don't like the Thordsen on it, I'll SBR it but I got this for traveling. As far as I can tell, it's lawful since there are a bunch of manufacturers producing guns in this configuration. The stock and folding adapter will be here this week, I'll post pics.

Good choice. I think the rifle caliber pistol fills a small, but great niche. Especially for CHL holders.
So are you going to throw an Ultimak and micro on there? Imagine a WML will be on there somewhere, as well.
That gun is going to be hawt. IMO, who gives a shit if whatever the thing that's on my receiver extension is called looks goofy, it's functional and has several distinct and to be quite honest significant advantages over an NFA shorty.
TL:DR, braced rifle cal pistols are awesome.

Since they are already using the dust cover for the rear sight I wonder if you could drill a few holes in it and mount a rail. Looks cool. $18 is not bad for super tough mags.

I'm going to put a Vortex Sparc II and a Midwest Industries MoLok (?) rail on it. The WML prolly will be a Surefire or Streamlight in a VTAC light mount.
I put that WML system on everything, about $100 for more light than I'll even need, yes, thanks.

Yeah, I am totally fine with 100 lumens or so. 300 lumens bouncing off a white wall can flash blind me when my eyes are adjusted to the dark. Would be good on a dedicated ranch or farm rifle I am sure. Don't have a ranch or farm though.

Open vs 10.5" AR Folded Still not sure on this. I may still SBR it. Still haven't shot it, probably monday or tuesday.

Length of pull felt a bit long for me and it measured out at 13.5". Which makes sense because the Thordsen adds an inch. So I took it off and put it on my AR pistol lower. Much better.
I replaced it with the buffer tube off the AR pistol, a actual AR pistol buffer tube. The LOP is about perfect now, it just has a metal end. I'm going to try a cane tip and then if that's not acceptable, the new Sig brace. I'm not going to stamp this gun for a few reasons: A: it's pounds heavier than my AR-15 SBRs. B. I'd like to take it out of state without stinking paperwork. C. Even folded it's longer than my 7.5" and almost as long as my 10.5". So my head is full of why. The AUG with the barrel pulled is the same length. With it's flashhider it's about 5" shorter than my WASR10/63 AK. I'm not blowing $200 for 5 inches. (THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!) I believe to stamp something it should be short, as short as possible. It makes no sense to me to stamp something for a few inches.

I was a little surprised at the OAL, honestly. I think keeping it a pistol is the right move.
What's the forward sling mount on the 10.5? Will it work with the standard MOE handguards?

The sling mount on the 10.5" is a VTAC or a Midwest, I'm not sure. I got it in a trade.
Yes, it's mounted on MOE rail on the SL handguards. It's cool that Magpul made it reverse compatible.

Ah, I see. The light mount and sling mount are on the same piece of rail. I thought the sling mount was attached directly to the handguard like with the MOE VFG, etc. Ill probably mimic your set up for that on my AR.
Are you digging the SL furniture?

The SL is a big leap in ergos and price point. Handguards are way thinner and the stock is priced like an Moe but locks up tight, the original Moe did not. I think they're win.

Ok, put Sig brace on without talc powder. I believe I may know what gay sex is like, loads of pushing, grunting without getting anywhere. Post pics tomorrow.

I used hairspray then beat it on with a rubber mallet. Hasn't budged.
