Shown here in it's disgusting lawful import contortions. Nasty. The faux cone flashhider removed with the aid of a butane torch and retard hulk strength. Stripped lower. Replaced the WOO trigger group with an AR-15 one. Too bad, DAT WOO trigger was better. I'm going to drop it into an AR lower. Stormwerks scope mount, low and nice. Fits all kinds of tight, dawg. VLTOR! A1 flashhider with Daewooparts.com spacer because the threads are ridiculously long. Now for teh secky. ACE M4 folding stock, ACE ERGO grip, ACE adapter, and StormwerkZ two position safety. Vast improvement over the back flip counter clockwise confused Korea safety that came on the DR-two-hunnies! Glorious defender of South Carolina from the North Koranadian hordes waiting to subject us to the soft cupping hand of liberalism. North Koranadians! Hear our call! These are shot on a Blue B35 target. 69gr OTM group at 25 yds. Approximately 3". Not great but the M240 was barking hard. 77gr OTM The horror. About 8". 60gr TAP. Maybe 2" with a couple of flyers. Krink was barky as hell. Mmmmm, tasty 40 gr TAP. The lower group is 5 rds touching. The hole above is 9mm. 55gr X193 About 1" with two flyers. 62gr M855. Keyholing. About 2". These aren't the best groups but I had a M240B machinegun and a Krink, which had a concussive report, firing next to me. Cool to watch but doesn't add one bit to good accuracy at an indoor range. Retarded long threads. 1/2x28.

After this range session the 1/12 barrel twist seems to much prefer 60 gr and lower grain weights. The 40 gr produced the best group with every round touching. I'm going to grab some 55gr AMAX bullets and see if I can really ring this gun out. This gun performed flawlessly, ate and spat everything out. the 1/12 twist is it's only flaw. Even though the 62 gr were tumbling they did produce a somewhat respectable group at 25m so I guess they could easily be used in a pinch out to 100m. I'd really like to have the gun rebarreled with a 20" 1/8 twist barrel but those don't exist. Oh, well...

Definitely like the makeover. I've always thought the Daewoo's were cool for their AR/AK hybridish looks. Strong work breaux.

Looks awesome. Like what you did with it. Does that stock fold as well?
A little weird seeing it in pics, probably how it is for you too. 40 gr. TAP looks like it's the shit.
At 100y I'd occasionally produce an almost cloverleaf and then ruin it with my next couple shots. So it is pretty accurate.
Was wondering when that Woo was going to rear it's ugly head.

Still gonna roll with it as a truck rifle?

Yeah, I think so. It's pretty epic. It's super ergonomic, obviously uses AR mags, and I've go no trouble with 55 gr FMJ. I really want to try the 40gr vs milk jugs. I need to get a light on it some how.
55gr gel test>>>
40 gr gel test
Both look painful.

Maybe check out the Hornady 53 gr Superperformance V-Max. Not deep penetrating but it leaves a nasty wound channel. Ends up looking like an octupus, it's seriously huge.

Just purchased a Primary Arms Micro Dot w/50k battery life for DAT WOO (Woo Woo). I'll review it when I get that lil' doggy in against the Aimpoint Micro dot.

Interested in the comparison. I like my PA micro, mine isnt 50k version though (unfamiliar with that model). I think you'll like it.
Nice rifle, BTW.

Forgot, the barrel is Magnetic Particle tested. Pretty cool for beind 20 odd years old. The upper and lower are aluminium like the AR. that sets it apart from the FNC and the AK by not having stamped metal. To me, this is more like an AR-15 and a AR-180 had some hot loving and this was their childrenz. There isn't a whole lot of AK in it. The bolt/carrier are not part of the gas pistol, the trigger is 100% AR, the bolt is almost identical to the AR series, and the sights are very HK meets AR-15 A1. The handguards are very FNC inspired. The controls are basically the same as the AR except the chaging handle which is also very FNC. Sorry, bugs me people say this is a mix of AK and AR. It's really not, it's very western inspired in almost all aspects and only shares a very redimentary nod to the AK long stroke gas piston which stole it's operating system from another system.

My only issue with the Aimpoint micro is that it is so damn expensive! I mean, 'sup wit dat? I understand they need a model for the .mil crowd, but I am very surprised they haven't come out with a PRO version of their micro. Personally, I don't get that wrapped up in battery life. From my military days, I have always treated batteries has high-turnover consumables and made it a point to have spares easily avaiable on my kit. When you need it the most, the battery will be dead. I believe that to be fact!
Anywoo, still super stoked with my PA micro. Short of Lone Survivor tactical mountain falling, I have no reason (thus far) to believe it isn't up to 99.9% of what I will put it through.
I think Vortex and Burris have really opened the doors and the market to quality, affordable, and dependable optics without the "tier one operator" price tags or being complete Chinese crap.
Wow, I didn't mean to get off on such a tangent...nice rifle! It's dripping hot sex all over the place!

Of course I had to buy one of Primary Arms earlier models instead of one of the 50k ones. < slaps-self> So *THAT'S* why they had that $49 sale. To clear inventory out for the new ones. ---- On the subject of design it is pretty FNC-like. That's a good analogy. Never thought of it like that. FNC - Swedish AK-5 Daewoo DR-200 On the subject of why people lump the AK in it's design attributes that long stroke gas piston does scream AK. That's the only AK-like part of it, but people generally want to use as few words as possible.
