Well, season's open!
Anyone else heading out deer hunting with a bow? Compound/Trad it doesn't matter - but if you use one of those sissy Xbow things, welll......
Our's opened up last weekend, and opening day I got a doe for the land owner. Actually pretty happy with the whole thing; was late getting out due to family obligations, hunting buddy was tied up with his kids (He's a Mr. Mom) so we had to run out and get his license quick, kicked three does up on our way to the woods with the gear, and still managed to plug one in the first 15min of the sit.
Made it back to the farm for tractor/beer with light in the sky and had it cut, processed out and packaged by the evening news. Can't beat that.
Now to get another doe tag and get some meat for our freezer...
