Thanks. Can't decide to leave it or do that camo netting job over it. I'll just leave it as is for now.
- If P.A.'s is making a profit off their Micro's I wonder how much it costs Aimpoint to manufacture their T1's/H1's for.

I just picked up one of those PA micros with the AD mount. Have to say I am super impressed. I was afraid it would be a re-branded piece of shit (like the micros that bear Sig's name). I should get some range time this week to see if it holds a zero, but from initial impressions I am not worried. Solid. Now I am fancying the 4x Prism that PA offers...

Side note, Primary Arms is my new favorite. I also recently ordered a Odin works barrel from them that had some horrible machining marks and a large scratch in the rifling (sad face)...customer service was super groovy on the phone and a return label was ready for me print off by the time I hung up.

I'm going to grab one of the Vortex Spitfire 3x scopes. I have two rifles (PTR 91 and a Daewoo) with jinky ergos and I need a longer eye relief scope that will fit over a low mount fixed rear sight. If the 3x Spitfire doesn't work I'm going to try their Gen 2 mini red dot.
Not sure when since I just sunk another, yes, another $800 into my wife's car. Damn, A/C compressors are expensive.

I like their 4x scope too, wish it looked more like an ACOG though. Speaking of ACOGs MAKO is comming out with their ACOG equivalent and a sub $400 red dot, I am looking forward to seeing some reviews of those.
PA has some well reviewed scopes that would be well below the price of a Vortex.

Yeah, I hear you but I've personally destroyed many, many, many low priced optics. And not in a good way.

Hmmm, never even heard of the 4x Prism or the 3x Spitfire. Looking them up they actually seem somewhat similar when comparing the two.

I barely started investing in quality glass, what is the first thing to go with lower quality optics? Do they just stop holding zero after a while? Eventually I am going to get my wife a bolt action .22 with a scope so she can plink, I am leaning towards a PA scope hope they are as impressive as their RDS.

Haven't had a red dot go bad on me yet (EOTech 512, a Vortex Strikefire and now this Primary Arms), but from what I do understand it's usually the battery compartment connections that start having problems or batteries that leak and eventually the thing just won't turn on. For conventional scopes the cheap ones generally seem to fog or have actual water behind the lens, but I've had two friends that had those red/green 4-different reticle NcStars have the whole reticle crash and then tilt inside the scope after just a few mags. In both cases I tried to talk them out of it beforehand, so they had some warning. One was able to get his money back and the other didn't

I am pretty sold on the quality of their RDS, I can't vouch for their scopes but I am pretty sure I wouldnt be dissapointed. They must have found a factory in China with some decent qc.
