kinda a mis-representative and inflammatory title even for the dailycaller.
"There are four different types of subscriptions offered by the group. The “e-ally box” is $25 a month and is “an electronic form of solidarity.” It comes with “exclusive ‘calls to action’ when urgent ally services are needed in times of crisis.”
Blah Blah Blah. Move this into the same column as PETA...

LOL... 'Rogue One' Premiere Targeted by Pro-Trump Street Artist
www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/rogue-one-premiere-targeted-by-pro-trump-street-artist-955003
When Disney hosts its star-studded Rogue One: A Star Wars Story premiere on Saturday, guests will be greeted by artwork meant to rub it in the faces of liberal Hollywood that Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton in the Nov. 8 presidential election.
The artwork, posted at bus stops and other locations near the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood, consists of parodies of the poster for the latest Star Wars film, as well as for the Fox comedy Why Him? starring Bryan Cranston, James Franco and Zoey Deutch.
The faux Star Wars poster features a heroic-looking image of Trump with an ominous image of Clinton lurking in the background. Huddled around Trump are his senior counselor Steve Bannon, pundit Ann Coulter, Breitbart News tech editor Milo Yiannopoulos, Fox News host Sean Hannity, Wikileaks founder Julian Assange and Vice Media co-founder Gavin McInnes, an early Trump supporter.
At the bottom of the poster, the title of the film has been altered to read, "Rogue Won: A Culture War Story."

Completed Wisconsin recount widens Donald Trump's lead by 131 votes
host.madison.com/wsj/news/local/govt-and-politics/completed-wisconsin-recount-widens-donald-trump-s-lead-by-votes/article_3f61c6ac-5b18-5c27-bf38-e537146bbcdd.html
Wisconsin's historic presidential recount ended Monday resulting in a net gain of 131 votes for President-elect Donald Trump over Democrat Hillary Clinton, the Wisconsin Elections Commission.
The recount resulted in a net increase of 837 ballots for a total of 2.976 million. Clinton and Trump added 1,557 votes to their total. The last statewide recount in a 2011 Supreme Court race resulted in a net change of 312 votes for the top two candidates out of 1.5 million ballots cast.
Trump gained 844 votes from the recount and Clinton gained 713 votes. Trump won the state by 22,748 votes.
"Completing this recount was a challenge, but the real winners are the voters," WEC chairman Mark Thomsen said in a statement after signing off on the statewide results. "Based on the recount, they can have confidence that Wisconsin's election results accurately reflect the will of the people, regardless of whether they are counted by hand or by machine."
The commission originally advised county clerks to complete their recount process by 8 p.m. Monday so it could certify the results on Tuesday, the last day federal law guarantees a state's electoral votes will reflect the popular vote when the Electoral College convenes on Dec. 19.
On Monday the Board of Canvassers in the final four counties — Dane, Milwaukee, Outagamie and Rock — certified their results. Dane County was the last to complete ballot-counting on Saturday night.
The recount of nearly 3 million votes began Dec. 1 after Green Party candidate Jill Stein paid the estimated $3.5 million cost.
The actual cost won't be known until counties report their costs by Dec. 30. Stein will be responsible for paying any amount over the original estimate and will be refunded if the cost is less.

Pretty sure this is a constitutional issue, and illegal as hell. www.live5news.com/story/34083904/bill-aimed-at-preventing-online-porn-in-south-carolina?utm_content=buffer60388&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_campaign=buffer***************** COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - People buying computers in South Carolina would be limited in their access to porn online under newly proposed legislation. A bill pre-filed this month by state Rep. Bill Chumley would require sellers to install digital blocking capabilities on computers and other devices that access the internet to prevent the viewing of obscene content. The proposal also would prohibit access to any online hub that facilities prostitution and would require manufacturers or sellers to block any websites that facilitate trafficking. Both sellers and buyers could get around the limitation, for a fee. The bill would fine manufacturers that sell a device without the blocking system, but they could opt out by paying $20 per device sold. Buyers could also verify their age and pay $20 to remove the filter. Money collected would go toward the Attorney General's Office's human trafficking task force. Last year, pushed by officials including Attorney General Alan Wilson, lawmakers approved a bill to give the State Grand Jury authority to investigate human trafficking. The bill was first reported by the Herald-Journal of Spartanburg. Chumley told the paper his proposal would block users from accessing websites that facilitate human trafficking and is intended to protect children from exposure to sexually explicit materials. "If we could have manufacturers install filters that would be shipped to South Carolina, then anything that children have access on for pornography would be blocked," the Spartanburg Republican told the paper. "We felt like that would be another way to fight human trafficking." Chumley's bill has been referred to the House Judiciary Committee. Legislators return to Columbia for a new session next month. ************************ So as it reads above: "and other devices that access the internet" Phones, Kindles, laptops, TV's, Automobiles, Refrigerators, Thermostats... The list goes on...

Russia's ambassador to Turkey shot in Ankara, state media reports
www.cnn.com/2016/12/19/europe/turkey-russian-ambassador-shot/index.html
Russia's ambassador to Turkey, Andrey Karlov, was seriously wounded in a shooting Monday at an art exhibition in Ankara, Turkey's official Anadolu news agency reported. Karlov was giving a speech at the opening ceremony of a photo exhibit when an assailant opened fire, the news agency said.
Images of the scene showed a body on the ground as a man with a pistol stood nearby. The ambassador began his diplomatic career in 1976 and has been the envoy to Turkey since 2013, according to a profile on the website for the Russian Embassy in Ankara. Police cars quickly swarmed the scene after the shooting. Authorities haven't said who they believe was responsible for the attack.
The shooting of the ambassador is the latest in a long string of attacks in Turkey this year, although it's the first in recent memory to be directed at a foreign dignitary. A car bomb exploded near a public bus in the central province of Kayserion Saturday, killing 13 soldiers and wounding 55 people, according to Turkish officials.
The attack came exactly a week after a pair of bombings in Istanbul killed 44 people, including 37 police officers, and injured 155 others. The explosions, which occurred after a heavily attended soccer game at Besiktas Vodafone Arena, were claimed by a Kurdish militant group called the Kurdish Freedom Hawks.

The "ARpocalypse" in Kalifornia is drawing nigh !!!.... As I understand it, there is a 10 day waiting period for a firearm purchase. So today is the last day someone can make a purchase and be able to actually take possession before the Jan. 1 cut-off. Gun retailers report a run on firearms ahead of new California restrictions
www.latimes.com/politics/la-pol-ca-gun-run-snap-20161218-story.html
Gov. Jerry Brown’s approval of sweeping gun control legislation in July has triggered a run on firearms in California, with some stores reporting sales have doubled since then.
Starting Jan. 1, the general public in California can no longer buy a semiautomatic rifle equipped with bullet-buttons that allow for the quick removal and replacement of ammunition magazines, under a new law signed by the governor.
Guns purchased before Jan. 1 can be kept as long as the owner registers them with the state as assault weapons.
As a result, sales of the long guns have at least doubled at many California gun stores, owners report.
“When Gov. Brown signed that bill, the first 30 days in July were just insane,” said Joshua Deaser, the owner of Just Guns, a store in Sacramento. “It died down for a while but now we are back with everyone trying to get what they can before the end of the year.” ....
....The number of semiautomatic rifles registered this year with the state has more than doubled over last year, according to the state Department of Justice.
In the less than six months since the July 1 signing of the rifle ban, 257,895 semiautomatic rifles have been purchased, eclipsing the 153,931 rifle purchases reported to the state in all of 2015, the state agency said.
*I believe the new laws also require people that own pre-ban (11+ round capacity) magazines that were previously Grandfathered in 1989, must now surrender them. And another new law (not sure when it takes effect) will require a background check every time you purchase ammo.
