Finally got the last grade... woot!
DONE! Just need to head to commencement looking like a homeless person. My advice for all the youngin's graduating: Listen to your local Graybeard, they've forgotten more than you know!
Edit: 3.83 GPA, so if I decide to go further, it should help.

Yupe, total dork about it too. Clan that I'm in is Sir Havoc from YouTube. Well, the NA competitive clan. Not sure for how much longer though. Just, mmm, too serious for not having the talent pool.

Sigh. I had to put the ol' Bimmer out to pasture; multiple issues with the transmission, compression on two cylinders getting too low to ignore. So, I am the happy owner of a NEW (to me) 2006 Nissan Frontier pickup. I think I may go full BOV with this one; it has a reliable engine, good payload capacity for its size, and I'd like to have it dialed in because reasons. It is "only" 2wd, but I can live with that. First up: slightly larger wheels and tires. I have already talked to a welder friend about fabbing up a reinforcing bar behind the bumper, and a steel debris shield in front of the radiator. Then a higher capacity transmission cooler. Then a lot o electrical / comms gear goes in. (and a better stereo!) After that, who knows. One thing I am going to try and avoid is putting all the flash-n-trash accessories on it: Grey truck wants to stay grey man. Also, for every pound of stuff I add, I'm going to work to remove two pounds of other stuff. Lighter weight (especially in front) is good, but expensive.

Also, for every pound of stuff I add, I'm going to work to remove two pounds of other stuff. Lighter weight (especially in front) is good, but expensive. In addition to what you've already mentioned, consider the following extra mods/equipment- Skid plate (oil pan protection). Highlift jack. Second fuel tank. Hitch mounted winch with remote (install both front and rear hitch receivers). Second battery with an isolation switch (if you screw up and run your battery dead there's still juice to start the engine) 120amp alternator modified so it can also be used as a stick welder. Built in air compressor (maybe find room for it inside the quarter panels) Air bag jack(s) Use 6 inch dia schedule 80 pipe to make front and rear air tank bumpers. ...and a big winner, get or build yourself a double Axel trailer, preferably one that uses the same size wheels as your pickup. I suggest a drop deck flatbed design with covered wheel wells ( the deck fits between the wheel wells), then weld (2x4) tube steel sections (vertical orientation) down the outside edge of your trailer frame...that lets you mount wooden sides. This is obviously a single axel, but look at how much stuff you'd be able to haul. Those sides could be made much taller, and you could mount water tanks to the outside edge of the trailer frame. Done right everything can be covered with a tarp to keep prying eyes off of it. Bonus points if you stencil something on the tarp cover that adds to yur grey man approach....."Al's Landscaping Service", ect.
