Do you love the feel of the 1911 but hate the weight? Do you love the weight of your Glock but hate the way it points like a dowsing rod? As we all know, the biggest complaint about the Glock is the ergonomics. The muzzle rides too high for a point of aim grip, unless you do a lot of fly fishing casting. And because the Glock is a single piece grip and frame, to change this one had to fill and grind the backstrap to correct the grip angle. But what if the Glock is one of those things that you really want to leave alone because of the story behind receiving it? You see, I love my Glocks for a lot of reasons, but I really like the feel of the Sig; another pistol that I have a lot of time behind the trigger. If my Glock felt better in my hand, I’d be a happy camper.

Don’t ever say anything bad about Cleveland again, unless it’s on game day and the Browns are playing.
I was introduced to these by GD4 and they are spot on the best addition to the Glock since steel sights. What the Grip Force does is change the angle of the grip without hacking up the frame. By punching out the rear pin and using the supplied longer pin, you simply attach the grip extension to the Glock and you are done, unless you want to spend the time to blend in the edges and get the prefect fit. I just slapped it on and ran with it.
Presto, you have a brand new pistol.
I compared the grip to everything I had on hand; Sig P226 and P6/225, Smith and Wesson 915 (budget 5904 that I carried on duty for a couple years) and M39, and of course a 1911, but this one in 10mm. I have to say, it’s a game changer for the Glock. I put the Grip Force Adaptor on my G22 and G19. Because of the length of the grip, I thought the one changed the most was the G22. It points more like a good pistol should and makes the G22 just plain comfortable in the hand. Recoil is changed to fill the hand and not push the slide/muzzle up and over the hand, but more back into the hand. I think that the pistol is faster on target and more controllable (such as it can be uncontrollable, but you know what I mean) in both .40 and 9mm (I have the Wolff conversion for my G22-another great feature for the Glock). The G19 now is on par with the 225, with the nod going to the 225 for comfort because it is just that much more. Not knocking the Glock, but it is a Sig. Both pistols shoot alongside the Sig in feeling accurate and give me the comfort feeling of the Smiths and 1911, and the bonus comfort because I know I have the Glock reliability.
I switched back to the Sig as my primary because even after shooting and carrying Glocks for years and liking them, they just weren’t that super comfortable happy feel that I got from my other pistols. The Grip Force Adaptor makes the Glock feel classic, and after 30+ years, the Glock deserves to feel like a classic.
Pics as I get them to show the comparison between the mentioned pistols.
