I worked last MBO, and that didn't work for me.

On my last camping trip I carried my two day bug out bag during the hiking portion. Thus I was prepared, as no one else was, for "certain emergencies" when our 2-3 mile hike turned into a 7 mile hike. Your welcome. Someone won't be forgetting Wet wipes in his daypack next time. I have also been training every week on a similar trail for fast hikes (no rest breaks) of up to ten miles.

I would love to have that type of terrain down here for practice hikes. AOW doesn't know ho good he has it. . On the plus side I'm a master of distance, over flat terrain. Pulling 2x20 milers through the Swamp Fox trail... Did we confirm we ended up at ~7miles? I think we hit every "Knot" trail up there, and did anyone find out WTH Monkey Fist was? On the plus side. Setting up a 10 miler Saturday for the scouts, and the next 2 weekends I'm in the woods!

Yeah, I love that trail I go on. It connects to a larger trail so I could do a 20 miler or more if I wanted. Even has a fishing spot or two. Unfortunately, some people like to use the easiest fishing spot to get to as a bathroom. Bury your poop you nasty buggers!

Redeyes rockin' da woodz. Chateau de GBM. Eno tarp, Eno hammock, Eno Atlas straps and a Jacks R Better under quilt. Eno Tarp: Light weight, folds down small and completely weather proof. Completely covers my set up. Eno Hammock: Makes me into a GBM burrito. Eno Atlas Straps: Raock! FTW and stuff. These were too easy to set up. Around a tree, loop them through and clip on. Hammock was up and it was easy. Good kit. Jacks R Better UQ: Awesome. Very warm, full under coverage. It wasn't cold, down to 52* so I wasn't the test that I wanted. However, it was easy to set up and take down. Kept me too warm, I wore a fleece and have a wool blanket to cover my legs. Did a small experiment with the Sig 2022 and it's chocolate brown holster. Dey it is. Dey it ain't. One kick of leaves over the pistola.
