Alright, so I was told today by a very reliable source (an active, sworn Law Enforcement Officer) that during an in-service training last week, the topic was "Domestic Terrorism" and the instructor was speaking specifically about "Sovereign Citizens". However, I was told that during this portion of the training, photos of members of and gatherings of the "Tea Party" were being displayed for the audience. This training was reportedly provided by the North Carolina Justice Department, not the Federal Government. Think about Officer's being instructed about certain fringe unlawful organizations, but shown photos of an entirely different group of law abiding citizens. Sounds like the lines between patriots and terrorists are being purposefully blurred.........

The govt. has been claiming domestic terrorist since the OKC bombing back in the mid 90s. They just keep changing who is defined on that list. Apparently this administration sees anyone who doesn't agree with them as a terrorist. Since you say it was the NCJD, I'd put it at a solid 90% that they were handed information from the fed or a group associated with the fed. Hopefully the LEOs will realize what they are attempting to do. When rioting starts, they will see the true face of the nanny state dependents out on the streets and the claimed "domestic terrorist" won't be there.

Seems like if you want to build an empire, then you "need" external threats.....But if you just want to create a more totalitarian state, then you "need" internal threats to justify actions and blame failures on.

True. They kinda need us though. We're among the ones who actually work so they can rob us through income tax and then redistribute our money to the 50% that doesn't. So as much as they'd like to get rid of us they can't.

Yeah, I agree.
Seems like half the Republicans out there aren't really Conservative though. Think McCain and Graham.
I've voted Republican down the line my whole life, doesn't seem to have done much good. Now because I'm a Conservative the powers that be view me as some kind of terrorist.

Well, as a resident of South Carolina I'm going to do everything with in my rights as a citizen and a resident of this state to get rid of Graham. I'm not a fan of Grahnesty. I do not believe that someone who's willfully broken the law should have the opportunity to acquire the benefit of citizenship or visa of residence.

I agree that we as a Country have let things go too far. The system is a joke...... When Ken was recapping his conversation, with the LEO that took the D/T training, my biggest concern is this person is very like-minded, he noticed what/whom was being targeted. When he asked the instructor why there were pictures being shown of the tea party meetings and demonstrations during this presentation, he was told he didn't know, this was just what he was given to use. When you look at what they are trying to portray it is far from the truth. Yes you might have some extreme individuals in a group, any group has a few. On the whole you are dealing with middle aged to elderly conservatives/constitutionalist that are not looking for trouble. Nothing close to what might be considered a sovereign citizen or a domestic terrorist. I had a flashback to 'Clockwork Orange' as the main character was going through his deprogramming sessions.
