I've been watching it on the news since it happened. Why didnt Cali's strict gun laws prevent this? Very sad situation though. Really looking like Islamic or domestic terrorism to me.

Too early to tell, but I think if it was Islamic, they would be all over Facebook with video of the hit. I fear it was a right wing nutjob. But yes, one of the toughest states in the union to carry a gun. I'll never live there.

Been listening to the police scanner for a while now.... www.broadcastify.com/listen/feed/12443/webThey have been dispatching units to investigate "suspicious persons" and "suspicious black SUVs" all over the area.....People in black clothes, people in camo clothing, persons walking through shopping malls, persons just standing around.....It's a Mongolian cluster-fuq. Those yahoos could've jumped on one of several nearby interstates and freeways, and be 100 miles away by now.

Now it looks like something happening.
A black SUV all shot to hell, a possible suspect down on the opposite side of the road, LEOs all over the place (helicopter view).
ETA: Bearcats & Teams rolling up now.

Sounds like a second pursuit in progress concerning another vehicle with "shots fired".
ETA: Possibly two suspects dead at the scene of the shot-up SUV and a third suspect on foot (described as a "Male, dark skin").
ETA: "Male, dark skin" may be from the second vehicle pursuit. There's so much radio traffic it's hard to keep up with who-is-who.

Sounds like most of this is happening within a mile of the original active shooter call.
ETA: On the radio: "There's a guy in the backseat, laying down, with an AR-15 across his chest...looks like he's still breathing."

Looks like the victim's bodies were still warm when B. Hussein Obama made it a "gun control" issue. Asshole. Must have interrupted his golf game.
I will not be surprised if "Aloha Snackbar" was mentioned a few times during the attack.
And yes, looks like strict gun control is really working in California. (Rolls eyes)...

Was listening to rose colored liberal news radio while driving through Chicago today enroute to a conference, I seriously don't know how anyone with two braincells could listen to that crap and believe it. For over two hours it was nothing but conjecture and broad brush painting of victims and nothing about the attackers - just the weapons. You could hear the disdain in the voices of the "anchors" as they talked about the 2nd, but it was like a soft pleading heartfelt switch was thrown when they talked about the facility and all the people that facility was helping - the poor, the autistic, those with Downs; it was like they were reading a list of everything they could find.
Anyone wanna bet the facility was a gun free zone?

Anyone wanna bet the facility was a gun free zone? I'll take that bet, sucker! If it was a gun free zone then there couldn't have been guns there. Pay up, dumbass! On a serious note (and regardless of who did it or why, this is an awful thing, and it appears to be happening way too often both domestically and abroad), I wonder if the #neuterthepolice & #copsshouldnthaveblackriflesbecausetheyscareus crowd noticed that Bearcats ("Why do cops need tanks?! Are we living in Nazi Germany?!?!") were used in the last two of these incidents to evacuate wounded citizens and cops and get the good guys close enough to the bad guys to shoot the shit out of them? Serious violence requires serious equipment to address it. Fuck the libs who would have my wife going into situations like that with a revolver and a prayer because a properly trained and equipped cop offends their delicate sensibilities.

Agreed and have no probl3ems with armored vehicles, long guns, etc. Gotta be able to pack a punch, and armor in all it's forms are good. I have however gotten into arguments with friends of mine who were cops, because one of the local dept's here has an M-60. Why? Best answer I got was, what if a container ship was taken over coming into port?

I mean, with good training, I guess you could put rounds onto the bridge from a ways away, but you would have to be pretty darn good with it to do that at range. And I doubt a bunch of 7.62 bullets are going to actually stop a 100,000 ton ship... Maybe I missed something. But hey, I'd love to have an M-60 too!

Now I'm hearing reports (unconfirmed) that the shooters were wearing Go-Pro cameras.
ETA: The two suspects identified as Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik, both in their late 20s and both currently deceased. They reportedly had two ARs, one a S&W and the other a DPMS, and two pistols stated to be a Llama and a S&W.
