What NXP said. I've been back and forth on whose side I'm in agreement with, this is crazy. :/ I haven't really decided yet fully as we'll probably be hearing new information for awhile yet as I'm almost positive this will go to trial. In my mind I'm probably more in the middle, but leaning to the police side of it as I figured there would be some extenuating circumstances on the officers part even though I felt shooting him while running away without a weapon (I didn't know if the officer knew that at the time or not though) was a split second mistake because he was in it. When I first saw the footage from that guys cell phone I had a few different thoughts all pretty much one right after another. • First reaction : "What the fuck?!!! The guy looked like he was unarmed and he was definitely running away. Don't think that's legal. That cop is screwed" • Second reaction : "I'm betting that there's more to the story than what the media is reporting currently though. That cop is still screwed". • Third reaction : "Well I guess none of that will matter for that cop because of all the current ' Hands up, Don't shoot' bullshit where all cops are supposed to be racist Kluxers now turned out to be false and the protesters and media are still using it. That cop is definitely screwed."

I expect N. Charleston to get really spicy now. It is one of the most dangerous places in SC and I bet it will be even more so now.

Yeah, I kinda thought that area might become more dangerous for y'all after this. Maybe there might be some sort of unrest or protests in SC after this despite the police arresting the officer involved and was one of the primary motivators behind posting about this besides that it seems like another case in the never ending saga. Being in the same State might not matter much though. I mean we're 640 miles away from Ferguson Missouri and idiots were protesting here and blocking traffic on Interstate I-45 at 8 and 9 o'clock at night because of the Michael Brown case. *This Guy* lived in Tennessee, not Florida. The people that were severely assaulted and murdered in ' revenge' after the Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown cases are in a few cases still suffering permanent injuries or are still dead even though those cases have faded into the background.

I actually live in North Chuck. There's been a few protests, but nothing major. The family told Cousin Al to stay away and that he would be banned from the funeral.
Honestly, if they are protesting, it has not affected any of my travel or events so far.
