I actually owned a Blackhawk for a while. I had the 7.5" barrel. It was fun to bullseye soda cans at 25 yards.

I've owned a bunch of different brands/models, probably more than most I guess. FAL's, M14's/M1A's, H&K 91's, Italian BM-59's, Garands, M1 Carbines, AR's, AK's, a Daewoo DR-200, a Thompson, Glocks, BHP's, CZ's, 1911's, Sig's, Beretta's, Smith Revolvers, Mausers, Enfields, Arisakas, MAS's, Schmidt-Rubin's, Win/Ruger/Rem/Savage/Tikka hunting rifles, blah, blah blah.
Grew up in a family of gun nuts and I'm a gun nut myself, doesn't make me Larry Vickers or one of those white gloved dudes on the history channel. I learn new shit every day. I'm constantly hitting up others that know more than I do about a certain gun.
I have opinions about what I like, but those opinions rarely drift into bashing others gun choices. I can give my impressions on something and tell why a certain gun worked for me or didn't, but usually I won't go on rants. I've been wrong too many times or I wasn't familar with a technique or product that helped with a particular gun.

Let's see, I've owned:
Glock 26, 19, 17, 23 Taurus PT111 Keltec P32 Sig 229R Ruger LC380 Colt 1911 Taurus TCP S&W 64-3 H&R 12ga 870 Wingmaster 12ga Sears 12ga Mosin Nagant AKM Two 10/22s BCM 14.5/11.5 ARs PSA 16" AR Marlin Mod. 60 .22lr
I think that's everything..
Either way, I am far from an expert but have formulated opinions based on my own experience and reading other's as well. I like steering inexperienced shooters in the right direction but rarely will bash another's choice. The fact is all the guns I've owned have been reliable. Yes, even the Taurus pistols and Romanian WASR. I just keep mine reasonably clean and lubricated and they work plain and simple.
