An old partner of mine came up with this idea for an ultra-awesome theme park called 'Hell's Half Acre' that sounds kind of like what I picture it as.

(We used to have a shitload of dead time while sitting in between 911 districts waiting for a call in which to discuss such things).

First you get there, valet parking and you go on in.

Starts out with a gun range/gun store/machine gun rental business when you can buy, shoot or rent guns and blast shit. Instruction right there if you need some. Tracers, tannerite, junked cars to set up targets in and behind, moving gore targets on runner tracks . . . The whole bit.

Then it goes to a race and demolition derby type track where you race your friends in old jacked up cars with roll cages welded inside with spring-bumpers on all four points of contact with the appropriate safety gear (after signing a waiver of liability of course) while bashing into each other in a metal grating and spark throwing competition on your way to the finish line.

Then the restaurant with the weapons tacked all over the place, sawdust on the floor and eating on old-style log tables where you can toss the rib bones to the dogs like a Viking.

(After all, gotta eat after burning all that energy. Might as well be good and enjoy your meal)

After that you walk on over to the fully nude titty/sports bar where you can get crazy with your bro's and do ice cold jäger shots with naked good looking chicks sitting in your lap and dancing for your viewing pleasure to something from Pantera, Slayer, or the Misfits. Doesn't matter so long as it's fast. You also have the accessory desk where you can buy a beer bong and other party related material which you can use to chug beer using the funnel and hose. Hot oil wrestling, midget bowling, live music with a slam pit and various other activities are also offered with the band safety protected by screened chicken wire.

Then the obligatory tattoo shop (where hopefully you chose the design before you got lit so that you don't end up getting a tattoo that reads : 'I love all of my friends' on your forearm) and then maybe have a few more in the first class hotel bar as the evening winds down where the atmosphere is perhaps a little less hard driving. Then your hotel room bed with the crisp sheets with a mint on the pillow where you can sleep it all off (and you're not driving drunker that Cooter Brown and plowing into a family of four all for the convenience of having your vehicle right there when you wake up).

What I'm picturing is a place kind of like the above which serves pork by the platter-full, that maybe has cartoon pictures lampooning their Prophet and his way inappropriate relationship with his 9 year old wifevictim Aisha the daughter of Abu Bakr and with an obligatory dart board featuring Abu Bakr al-Baghdad.

Something like that would become my new home away from home and would be hated by almost all religious extremists (and my wife) alike.

I've looked into ISIS some and to be honest they're a culmination of all of the fighting that's taken place between Islam and the West (if you're also counting the former Soviet Union and then Russia as part of the 'West') in the past 100 years or so. Right after WWI.

It's like kind of an all-star team with every Sunni extremist group being represented. Mental defectives side by side with long term professional terrorists and hardened guerrillas that have in some cases survived fighting either the Soviets/Russians, the Americans/NATO and the Assad Regime or sometimes all three. Chechen rebels, former Bosnian militia, Syrian guerrillas, Iraqi insurgents and bomb makers, former Al Qaeda, Austrian and Australian teenagers duped into making the trip to Syria after becoming radicalized, former gangsters (and at least one former would-be rapper) from Detroit and London, Dutch welfare recipients, . . . You name it. Only difference is throw in some ancient slaughter with edged weapons as a throwback to a simpler time where conquerors chopped off their enemies head, stuck it on a stake and either took their enemies women to wife or sold them on the slave block for some quick money in a leather bag with drawstrings carried on the belt.

Ironic thing is that all the above is true, not exaggerating in an attempt to be funny.

At any rate, back to ISIS. Look at how ISIS ended up referring themselves. As 'Islamic State' and as a Caliphate.

That's honestly why they have the influence that they do today, it's because of all the nations and people that they conquered in the past at the point of a sword.

At any rate to sum it all up I'm not saying that the US needs to get involved in Iraq full scale the same way we did before, not much in it for us. Just saying that since ISIS, ISIL, Islamic State or whatever those dipshits want to call themselves are the inheritors of an Islamic tradition that would like to force their way of life and religion on every living thing on the planet and that a fight is coming anyway whether we like it or not. So we might as well support the Kurds, the Israeli's and any other semi-moderates in the region that are okay with Westerners and let them do whatever fighting that needs to be done their way.

It's not like the Sunni's that subscribe to this Wahhabist version of Islam don't want to do the same thing to us (enslave and pimp out our women and stick our heads on a fence pike) . . . So fuck em.

It's not a question of the US being involved, we're already involved. Even if it wasn't a matter of Islamic radicals hating America due to it's political and monetary support of Israel since the mid-1940's they'd hate us due to our culture. We're kind of already in it due to a clash of cultures.

Anyone hear the reporting from Canada about how that Canadian bad ass took down the terrorist? The report I heard said the t was hiding behind a pillar exchanging fire, the Sergeant at Arms went right up to the same pilar, so close he could see the enemies barrel sticking out and firing then he dove around the pillar emptying a whole mag into the terrorist. Bad ass like die hard/shootem up action movie bad ass.

I hope they do, we need our own propaganda campaign to counter ISIS, now would be a good time to release video showing us feeding osama to the fishies too.
