Wish I had a bobcat. I had to hand load the rounds onto my truck and then load them onto a gigantic trailer. I unloaded it this morning. It was more like 1.25 Tons. I overestimated yesterday because I was wore out. But yeah, everything else you said is right on. ETA, I forgot that I hauled away a smaller load before the big load. So I am thinking around 1.75-2 tons. It was a big fucking tree.

That's on the low side for my age group. 43 yo. It's actually trending down, which I'm pleased about the extra cardio is helping. #workingonit

Just committed to a backpacking trip in the Southwest with my oldest nephew's Boy Scout troop. 12 day trip, total mileage will be 80-90, elevations ranging from 5-12,000 feet. In July, so the heat will be an issue.
Training started tonight. Nothing major, threw the contents of my vehicle GH ruck into my hiking backpack, laced up my kicks and took the mutts on a 3 mile walk. Nice paved road, very slight up and downs. Nice and cool here tonight, felt great to stretch my legs and work up a light sweat.
The plan will be to work up to a five mile run in the heat of the day and be able to do 10 miles or so offroad with my estimated pack weight before I head out for the trip. A five mile run is about 2 farther than I usually go, and will be a good cardio base for the increased elevation, the 10 miles is a high end of what one of our daily mileages will be. I can't really train for a 12,000 ft mountain here in the flatlands, so I might do a 200 squats program starting in May.
Anyway, it's good to have an event to train for. I lift and run pretty religiously when I'm on shift, but having a 'goal' event is always nice.

#26 I am way behind. First day back after two weeks off. It was a rough class. We were practicing takedowns. My partner was practicing one that included a hip toss. He has been doing Judo for a long time. He was throwing me like he normally throws his training partners, (He wasn't being rough or anything, I don't know how to fall correctly.) and that and the rigorous warmup had me ready to throw in the towel at 40 minutes in. Luckily the pace of the class dropped off significantly after that. As soon as I got home I popped some Ibuprofen. Getting hit with a planet sucks.

A place i worked issued pedometers to us workers. They said "strive for 5" meaning try to get 5000 steps in a day it was = to 3 miles or some shit. Well we all laughed at the end of the week meeting. Everyone was tracking 15 K or more i remember some in the 25K range. Now this was 8 to 10 hours of walking non stop in a warehouse work so walking is expected. Our office people had to try real hard for the 5K.

Suckin' wind and hatin' life with a full blown man cold. Went to FastCare because I would have thought some improvement would occur in 3 days. Nope. Just the "bad" influenza strain. Pound fluids and Netflix binge here I come.
