Nothing to see here, move along. Now, I know a guy who was on the watch list just because his name caused a red flag ( I won't post his name, but it was extremely anglo-normal) and caused us no end of annoyance every time we flew (which was a few times a month while I worked with him) - I would jump for joy if the system finally stopping pinging his name, but something tells me the names 'ol Barry wanted dropped weren't "Bill, Ted, Mike" and the like... I wonder if the actual name list ever gets restored, so we can see exactly WHO the Obama WH decided should be allowed in, no questions asked. |

If she's not tried and convicted I will henceforth officially not give a shit about any law on the books, I'll just do what's needed to avoid entanglements. Seriously, I have a security clearance. If I fucked up one tenth of a percent of how much she screwed the pooch I'd be under the jail with sunlight piped into my cell once every alternating Thursday...on leap years. Don't get me wrong...Petraeus should have fried as well. |

It just occurred to me that the general consensus among professionals is that 10,000 hours of practice is required to truly master any activity.
Under that assumption, I am pretty sure that when the Zombie-Fueled Post-Apocalyptic Wasteland happens, I will take it all in stride. Supplies, gear, plans, occasional actual field testing of said plans (the dual phonebooks taped to my chest rig didn't do as well as expected)... I spend WAAAY too much time thinking and planning thru the "what-if's" and "what then's" of disaster preparedness, now I do it as part of my job description at my day gig.
--- uh, not "Zombie-Fueled Post-Apocalyptic Wasteland Manager", (although that has a nice ring to it) but more of "Technical Director who is also Director of Campus Safety for all Three Widely Spaced Campuses" or something like that. They haven't made an actual plaque with that on it yet, but yea.
Hey, its better than crochet.
Anything else, I am basically screwed. But the ZFPAW, I got that.
And drinking. I am good there.
