Yeah, I didn't start the like I usually do, and as such only had 20% sprout from the ground. No worries, the first round is already up and under the growlights, second round of starters went in last night with help from the kiddos. Another week and 1st round will be in the ground and we'll be back in business.

I think my winter squash is already dying off. Many of the leaves have fallen and rotted. Same with my pumpkin but I know that's not ready, it just started turning orange.

Heh. My pumpkins are finally knee high and starting to spread.
Round 1 of new beans are in and planted. Round 2 is in starters. Some damn bug is decimating my peppers. I've sprayed twice and the little bastards are still destroying the leaves....
I have worries for my jalapenos.

Jalapenos rebounded wonderfully without the constant chewing of slugs. I can haz peppers.
3rd round of beans are behaving wonderfully.
Pumpkins and squash are off the chain, vines over 25' and growing.
Neighbor's pissed as hell, his garden sucks. I am smugly satisfied.

All my stuff was slowly dieing so I just pulled it all up and will start again next weekend. We have a LONG grow season here.
I harvested 1 Italian Winter Squash. It was 22" and 25#. I jarred it all up and it made 14 quarts.
I also got a coworker to give me her watermelon rind. Just got done make 6 pints of watermelon rind pickles.

Harvested the Chinook hops this evening. That was a hoot, nothing like being 10' up a ladder with a 5gal bucket picking cones for an hour plus. Into the dehydrator with you! I've got 5 more plants to pick this week...
Tomatoes are finally starting to ripen up, pumpkins keep pumpkin', not real sure what to do with the brussel sprouts -the bottoms look awesome, the tops look sad.
Also, 5 peppers turned into the county fair for judging - hoping for something, they were some darn nice peppers and would have looked great on the grill...
